Sierra’s POV
Amisra was listening intently as I explained how I had been raised as a human until I was 18, and then my parents told me about being a wolf. I told her how I got a job in a publishing company, and that’s when I met Aaron. How Mathew was after me for so long, and how it all came down to a fight after I rescued Aaron. I think her favorite part was hearing how Mathew had marked me under dark magic and how Monica was able to reverse his mark, since I never marked him back. She gasped and laughed at all the appropriate times. I think this was the first time in a long time she had enjoyed herself, and maybe it distracted her from the current situation; I know it distracted me. When she had first started talking to me, she seemed hard and very matter of fact. Now she seemed lighter
