Aaron's POV
I was standing in pure blackness; nothing was around me and my body felt heavy. There was no shimmer of light, no indication that there was anything but me in this place. I couldn't even see the hand in front of my face, it was so dark. What was happening, and how did I get here? I had been with Sierra at the summit dinner and all we had done was take a walk to talk to Austin. That's the last thing I remember.
"AARON!! AARON WAKE UP!" I faintly heard Cole yelling for me.
"COLE!" I yelled back. He wasn't anywhere around me, and his voice was faint. Off in the distance like he was miles away.
