Emily knew her life had about to get rough but she couldn't do anything about it she just sat on her desk with a heavy look on her face on a cold tuesday morning.
Ethan walked in the atmosphere became calm but his presence was unknown to her due to the fact that she was thinking if she should spare her peaceful life of the melodrama that is about to devour it or the huge pay she is offered by the company.
"Good morning miss emily" Ethan said as he walked up to her desk......she rose her head and her eyelids fell she thought
"Is this lust or a temptation because it can't certainly be love"
In a haste she she stood up and replied him
"Good morning sir"
" see me in my office in 5 minutes" Ethan said
He left before she could even reply.
"Come I" Ethan said after hearing a knock from the door.
"Well who do we have here" he said as he dropped the blank file he had been staring at before she walked in
"Sir you sent for me" she said while she sealed her hands at her back.
he got up and walked over to her and leaned in like he wanted to kiss her..... she closed her eyes tightly and turned her face in fright. he tucked her hair behind her ear, moved back and smiled
"Don't be scared....I don't bite" he said
"I would have even prefer guys who bite" she muttered looking downwards.
he gave a faint smile and carried her on his table leaned in to her and trapped her in between his hands laid on his table.........the breeze blew in her hair.......there was great silence right until the director came knocking on his door.
"Sir...sir"
Emily immediately removed hands from the table and got up arranging her hair
"Come in" Ethan said
"Mr Hart is here to talk about the merger connected through your engagement with Lily hart" The director said after opening the door in yet an abrupt manner like she wanted to prove something.
"I will get going now" Emily said
"Stop.....you are my secretary you are supposed to attend meetings with me" Ethan said to her
Emily sighed and said
"Exactly just his secretary in a faint voice"
"Sir the meeting is about your personal life" she said in a rather loud voice....
"The engagement is a merger between the harrisons and the harts companies" Ethan replied
"Was he trying to explain to me" Emily thought.....
