"Honey get down here your gonna be late for school!!" Patti yelled for her daughter. "Coming Mom almost done!!" Alex yelled back. Alex was looking at the mirror felling insecure about her look. As the daughter of the most powerful Alpha of the Silver Back pack it still overwhelming on the responsibilities it put on a kid. The fact that tomorrow is my 18th birthday and the Alpha title will be mine even though I do not have the option to find my mate first due to my farther Alexander health makes me feel like the world is on my shoulders well me and my wolf Trish's shoulders anyway. "There you are. Read for your last day of school sweetheart?" mom asked me "Yes mom I am lets get going. Granted why do I have to go mom? I passed all my finals anyways I should be preparing for the Alpha ceremony." I nag at my mother. " Honey we talked about this. Last day to be you as Alex not Alpha Alex. I know since the rouges have become a valid threat and your dad was hurt that you want to step up and that who we wanted you to grow up to be just not this fast baby one more day won't change anything please for you farther do this okay?" mom said. "Okay mom how is dad doing today?" I asked mom. Two months ago there was a rouge attack like never before they came from all sides of the territory and in the process my dad lost his leg. Hence why the law of Alpha having to have a mate was waved for me to step up to lead and no wolf can find there mate till there 18th birthday the elders agreed as long as we waited for the official ceremony on my 18th birthday."He is good honey he will be able to come home in a week if all goes well. He asked if you would Skype him later to tell him about your day and that he is sorry he cant be here for your ceremony." she told me. "It's okay mom. I understand I just wish I could leave to see him." I jumped out and headed into the school for the last time with my best friend and future Beta Wayne.
