For a long time Morgan sat leaning against the wall. When light began to filter in through the smoke hole, Morgan got up. His clothes were still damp. He looked around and located the matches. Thankfully they had escaped the rain that had blown in through the door, and he was able to light a fire. He laid his clothes and the sleeping mat as close to it as he dared. He went outside once more to relieve himself. With the passage of the storm, a cold front had moved in. He shivered in the chilly morning air. Looking up, he saw the sky was clear.
