Chapter 6: Family
Three weeks later Morgan and Megan were crossing the bridge over the Soo Locks and heading back into Canada. They had waited until Megan finished her summer trimester at the university before returning to Agawa.
In relating the story to his parents, Morgan had omitted seeing the wolf, Robert’s knowing Morgan, and Robert’s expecting his return to his birth family. He knew they would find that unnerving and maybe not even believe him. He merely said he knew of an Ojibwe village and wanted to return to see if they could find their roots.
Megan on the other hand was fascinated by the whole mystifying affair and asked many questions. Morgan had told her most but not all of what had happened. He’d left out the part about James. He wasn’t ready to reveal that part of the myst
