Chapter 25: Let Me In 11:39 A.M. Saul and Gillian enter the cottage, escaping the oncoming thunderstorm. Gillian heads for the upstairs bathroom and Saul makes himself a drink, which ends up being a gin and tonic with a slice of lime and three ice cubes in a blue Solo cup. He carries his drink to the sofa and finds a seat. He is still sloshed and will probably stay sloshed throughout the entire holiday, clearly suffering from alcoholism. Saul needs some professional help and an intervention should be carried out in his life. Perhaps Gillian can arrange this in the near future, helping the man with his drinking problem.
