Pree “Is everything alright?” Bong Seth asks, looking down at my motorbike. I sigh. “Well, it won’t start.” “What?” He c***s his head to the side. “Is it broken?” “Seems like it. But it was fine this afternoon.” I kick the start lever a few times more, but all I get is silence. No matter how many times I try, the machine refuses to roar into life. “I’ll call my chauffeur. He knows about machines, so maybe he can help.” “Thank you.” I bite my lips, feeling guilty to bother him again. But I have no choice. My parents are out of town, and my sister is on holiday with her husband. Suda should be able to help, but I don’t want her to come since it is already dark. It seems Bong Seth is the only available choice now. “I’m sorry to bother you again.” “No problem.” He smiles before fishing
