My heart goes ba-dump, ba-dump, pounding hard against my chest and threatening to pop out any second. Sitting inside the up-to-date car that fills with man's cologne and ylang-ylang car perfume, my entire body tenses up as if I am trapped within a confined space. I should be thankful this isn't a sports car because I may faint from the proximity if it is. I know it is funny, but I have never shared such a closeness with any guy before. Well, maybe except for my dad.
