“Danielle, wait!” My slippers slapped against the polished floors loudly as I chased behind the short girl that was practically storming through the place. She waits until we’re outside before she turns abruptly and glares at me. I was panting by the time I had ceased running, and she just crossed her arms, waiting. “What . . . why are you so mad?” I ask her. “Some best friend you are Loa.
