I’m not sure how much time had passed . . . whether it was minutes . . . could be hours. I noticed the paramedics rushing into the house, a man grabbing me by my arm and pulling me away from the body. I felt confused as they picked her dead body off the floor, and placed it on the stretcher. Is that what happened in movies?
