“Loa,” Someone whispers into my ear and I hum. “Loa.”
Scrunching my face, I swat the person away from my face and they grab my arms. I open my eyes to find Samuel looking down at me'.
“Hmph,” I frown at him, he interrupted my sleep.
“Good morning sleepy head,” He murmurs quietly.
“Good morning.” I stretch, sitting up and I noticed that he was fully dressed. I completely forget about school.
“How are you feeling?”
I shrug. “Could be better, how late am I?”
“You’re not going to school today; I’ll get your work from Danielle.” I don’t complain. I felt completely drained and I need a day of rejuvenation if I wanted to keep my sanity. I felt like I had tears, but I didn’t know how to cry. “I’m gonna go though, I don’t want to disrupt my attendance records.”
