The Fall

           It's been 8 years since Cali lost her mother in that terrible accident, she's still feeling devastated and can't believe it's only herself and her dad now. Cali turns 18 years old today and her father James Clark decided to take her away into an adventure on the sea on his boat. So now together the two of them are in the middle of the ocean admiring the beautiful sea sparkling in the sun .Cali looks at the shore and through her mind starts to appear flashbacks of the accident where her father was driving the car after returning home from a party and she sees him falling asleep and he can't control the car anymore. The car jumps from the road down into the sea at high speed .Everything becomes black... That's all she can remember about that terrible day, the worst day of her life when she lost her mother, her best friend the one who understood her perfectly, the one who would do anything to make her daughter happy . No matter how much work she had to do Rose always found a way to spend time with her daughter and her husband. Cali misses her mother more than anything though she's happy her dad is still alive but sometimes it feels like he isn't . Now he's always busy and won't spend time with his daughter anymore. But today it is a special day Cali turns 18 years old and since she didn't want to celebrate it she's admiring the sea and thinks about her mother. You would think...Why bring your daughter to the place where her mother died? To the sea,the one that took her mother away. Well it's not only about the bad memories.The Willows sea is also the place where Rose gave birth to Cali. Rose was feeling so sick when she gave birth to Cali that nobody thought she was going to survive. Everyone said that the sea helped her and took away the pain with it's pure waters . Yes Cali was born in the waves of the sea. Not everyone happens to get into this world in such an amazing way like she did! It's amazing how the fate works. How some things are not just coincidences but are meant to be. Her father still remembers that day like it was yesterday and can't stop his tears. Both crying on the boat thinking about Rose and cursing the sea they notice the weather's change. The sun is not shining anymore,there are clouds everywhere, gray sky silence and it's like the time stopped. They look around barely seeing the shore far far away from them. The father tries to turn the boat really quickly because a storm is right ahead of them so he starts heading back to the shore. In that hurry, Cali falls from the boat inro the black sea and as the rain starts falling,she screams and cries begging for help but her father can't hear her as he is in a hurry to get to the shore as fast as possible. Seems like everything is lost , Cali can't swim and now her father is not there anymore to save her again like he did when the accident happened. He had to choose between his daughter and his wife. He chose his daughter first thinking that maybe he can go back in the water again to save his wife too. But it was too late when he got back to the car underwater his wife was already gone. The police said it must have been the powerful waves that took her away into the deep sea.Now it seams like the sea want to take his daughter too after it took away his wife.  So as Cali falls into the deep sea see looks everywhere trying to fight for her life trying to keep herself at the surface but in vain she keeps going deeper and deeper into the dark abyss. She can't see or hear anything anymore seems like everything is lost for her. She blacks out.

      Meanwhile, at the surface, her father got to the shore. He looks in the back of his boat but he can't see Cali there anymore. Freaking out he jumps into the sea screaming and crying cursing the sea for taking his daughter too.The waves hit him and he falls on his knees.  Wet and lost he returns to his boat grabs the phone and calls the authorities hoping there's still hope for his beloved daughter.After 20 minutes they arrived. He starts yelling at them and asks why it took so long.He explains everything and how he lost his daughter .The cop looks at the black  empty stormy sea and with a  glimpse at the darkness  that surrounds it he says:

      - I'm sorry sir...But there's nothing we can do. The father replies

      - WHAT ?! What do you mean ??Are you giving up on me?! You giving up on her! Go in there and find and save my daughter! That's you job! The cop says in a slightly annoyed tone.

      -Anyone that goes in there right now is as good as dead. The storm is too powerful even for a big ship. We're sorry to tell you...But your daughter is lost forever sir. She's lost and dead.Because nothing cand survive something like this.

 The cops get  back in the car and leave the man on the beach all alone. As he keeps staring at the sea, waiting for a sign. He wants to jump into the waves when from behing a hand grabs him and says:

   - Stop James! Please don't do it! You need to come back.

  It was Anna the woman that worked with James and they were best friends  since Cali's mother died.She tries to convince him to get in her car so  they can go and talk about it somewhere else.He accepts it and they leave. Anna starts driving to the city.

At that time Cali opens her eyes. Still she sees only darkness but she can't understand one thing. If she fell into the sea how is she still alive? That must be impossible.She starts to sense odd things. She feels like she's breathing air, when there's no air.She feels like she's floating but she's falling down.Something must not be right in this place.Something strange is indeed happening and all she can do is to wait and to see what is going to happen next. Is she dying? Is it the last moment of her life? Maybe this is how death really is. Darkness and forever dark with nowhere to go next..
