No one is safe

Karma continued to pray to protect them from entities that would want to harm them.   But as he chants something, a voice seems to follow her lead.   “She’s here,” Cissy said to her. She thought it already disappeared before she even started.   She continued chanting.   But the next thing she heard was Alice’s voice in her ear.   “You know, you can’t do anything to stop me.” it began to distract her.  “I’ve already gotten rid of the two boys outside,” She barely opened her eyes. But instead, she kept on going. “I know that you can tell already who I’m after.  But I won’t stop with only him. I’ll make sure that they will all pay for making my life miserable from bullying me.”   What Karma didn’t know was Alice was already speaking through Mar-jay and Keisha’s ears.   She told the two that they would definitely be spared if they can take the bracelet out from Eulo’s wrist.   With both slowly opening their eyes from Alice’s call. They exchanged knowing glances before they began to stand up.  Mar-jay being the closes to Eulo was easier to get on the latter's side. Mar-jay gives a silent signal to Keisha to take the bracelet while Mar-jay holds Eulo back.   Eulo was indeed taken by surprise when Mar-jay hugged him from behind. And with him not being able to move freely. With his arms locked on both sides. Keisha then charged to take the protection bracelet from his hand.   “Stop it!” Karma said as her chanting was interrupted suddenly by the noise around her.   “Get off me, you freak,” Eulo was struggling very hard from Mar-jay’s grasp. While trying to prevent Keisha from taking the amulet from his body. It's a good thing that the string was made of a thick layer of thread. So it can’t be pulled, rather, you’ll have to untie it first before you can take it off.   “It’s your life in exchange for the two of us. Alice promised to let us go if we’ll give you to her,” said Mar-jay.   “You really think she’ll let you go as she said. We’re all guilty of bullying her.  No one is safe from her wrath at this point,” Eulo tried to reason with both his friends.   “He’s right,” Karma interrupted.  “She already killed two of your friends outside. And she won’t stop until she gets to kill all of you.”   Keisha then halted from what she was trying to do.   She did hear a loud scream earlier.   “They’re dead?” Keisha was still shocked by what she heard. Its glance went straight to the entrance of the abandoned site. Where she found a body lying not far from where they stood. It’s Chigs.   “Oh my God!” Keisha said putting both hands on her mouth out of mere shock.   Mar-jay then started to let go of Eulo.   “You should all clear your heads right now, This isn’t the time to” Karma’s words were immediately cut short as Eulo pushed Mar-jay out of the circle.   Keisha shrieked.   “What are you doing?” She hissed at Eulo.   “What? You saw what he did earlier. They wanted to sacrifice me to save their own a*s. As far as I know, he deserves whatever happens to him outside this circle.   “You bastard,” Keisha tried to attack Eulo. But Karma held her back.   “What are you so angry about? You’re the one who started to throw me as bait. And now, you make it look like I was the villain here?”   Keisha ignored Eulo’s words and started calling Mar-jay’s name. Who wasn’t moving at all that time?   “Mar-jay, get back on the circle now,” the latter looked as though it didn’t hear anything. And just stood there with its head lowered.   “Oh no,” Karma immediately sensed a dark force circling Mar-jay’s body.   It had a sinister grin on its lips when lifting its head to them. Both pupils were a splash of white. As if it just turned into a cadaver all at once.   “You really think anyone of you could escape me?” Alice’s voice was the one coming out of Mar-jay’s lips. It was obviously possessed. “You know,” Mar-jay’s body started to look for something. Then it saw a piece of broken glass not far from where it stood before. “I always hated how this one talks,”   All three of them knew what was going to happen. But they are just as helpless as Mar-jay’s right now. ‘Cause, once they try to set a foot out of that circle. Their fate will be as good as the latter.   “Don’t do this, Alice.  Please, Mar-jay is innocent.” Keisha pleaded. But Alice just laughed at her words.   “Innocent? You call this, innocent?” it said pointing the sharp object to its neck. Making them all gasp in terror and fear.  “I am the innocent one here. I didn’t even know why you were all so angry at me. You turn at me like I did something wrong. When all I wanted was to be alone.” for one minute there. Karma felt remorse for Alice.  It isn’t its fault that it came to be an introverted person. But some people just can’t accept the fact that others are happy even without someone around to comfort them. But only makes it worst by making them feel unwanted. And bullied for what they are.  “But I guess, it didn’t matter anymore,” it began to smile again in a wicked manner.  “I can finally rest after I’m through with the people who pushed me to my death.”   “You choose to die. Why are blaming it on us?” Keisha started to sob.     “Yes, I did kill myself. But if your friends hadn’t r***d me when they thought that I was already dead and killed me after. I wouldn’t be a vengeful soul seeking revenge right now.”
