TO BE A LEADER!
CHAPTER 1 A heavy breath! Each breath was getting heavier than the last. “Harder!” “Go faster!” “Add more force!” Draco’s voice roared. The next punch that came after that was weak. Almost pathetic. “I need a break. I’m exhausted,” Miguel breathed hard. The punching bag swung lightly back and forth, then became still. “Is that all you can do?” Draco asked. “We’ve been at this for five hours straight.” Miguel looked at him, still breathing hard. “And you've achieved nothing within those five hours. Is this how you want to become the next boss?”,Draco asked sternly. Miguel couldn't even reply. He was out of breath. His chest was rising and falling heavily. He was totally soaked with sweat. His hair was scattered and spread across his face. He dipped his right hand into his full hair to push it back. It was all over his face. “All I’m asking for is a little break, Dad.” Miguel sat on the floor. He was finally breathing normally. “No breaks. Stand up this instant!” “Let him rest, sweetheart.” The voice belonged to Anthonia. The First Lady herself. She stepped in with her full glory. “You’re already back? How was the mission?” Draco asked. “It was fruitful. I got more than we paid for.” she replied. “How do you mean?” “You should meet her yourself.” “Her?” He raised his brows. “The Metallic.”,Anthonia smiled. “Damn” Draco smirked. The metallic is an art work worth over $5 Million. It was stolen at one of the biggest arts exhibitions in Paris since last year and the law enforcers has still not been able to retrieve it. “How did an artwork all the way from Paris get here?” Miguel asked. “Don't ask questions. Go and rest Come back here at the twentieth hour. I have a special training for you,” Draco spoke. “Sure, Dad.”,Miguel walked out, giving his parents privacy. “So, what were you saying?” Draco faced Anthonia. He gave her his full attention. As soon as Miguel walked out of there, he went straight to his suite to have a proper bath. His suite was the largest and fanciest among his siblings’ suites. He had three siblings—Bobby, Nicki, and Celestine. Each sibling’s suite depicted their personalities and what they liked. Well, all suites except Miguel’s. His father didn’t let him decide what he wanted for his suite. His father decided everything for him. From his hairstyles, his fashion sense, his training routines, and even his suite. Miguel was the opposite of what his father painted his suite to be. His personality was a mix of dark and unpredictable. At his current age of 15,he had already earned himself the nickname “Angelic Devil” and was known all over Chicago and beyond. Aside from his family being the top mafia clan in North America and Asia, he wasn’t known just because of his family background, but his reputation was majorly built because of how he was a contrast to his appearance. He had the face of an angel but was the devil himself. Even though the suite didn’t match his personality, it was a perfect fit for his outer appearance. It was beautiful. Very beautiful. The suite had lots of wonderful details that added to its elegance. Just like Miguel. Miguel was sculpted to perfection. His appearance was a combination of soft, almost delicate facial features with a masculine overall presence. The contrast was alluring. His eyes were almond-shaped, with a naturally intense gaze. His brows were a combination of thick, dark, and well-carved features. A straight nose gave his face a clean, elegant structure. And his lips were to die for. So f*****g full, particularly the lower lip. His hair was also really thick and dark. Very dark and always full. His skin wasn’t so smooth. He worked and trained hard. He had a few scars too, but his other features covered that fact. He had deep, broad shoulders that could drive any woman crazy. A strong back, long arms, and legs. His long legs were a whole different topic. They completed his elegance. His looks were divine and he looked more matured than his age. As soon as his foot stepped into his room, he took off his shirt, revealing his six-pack. Fuck, he was hot! He was about to take off his pants when someone walked in. “Frosty, you have to learn to knock.” Miguel rolled his eyes. “You have to learn to lock your door,” Frosty replied. Miguel glared. “Sorry, dude. I’m messing around. You might as well remove my finger biometrics from your door.” “Should I?” Miguel asked and started walking to the door. “No, man. Learn to take a joke.” Frosty held his hand. Miguel may be a devil, but he wasn’t so unbearable with his best friend, Frosty, and his siblings. “Roll your eyes again and they may fall off,” Frosty spoke when Miguel took off his hand and rolled his eyes. “How did I even become friends with a guy like you?” Miguel muttered and took off his trousers, leaving him in just his boxers. He took his towel and hung it around his waist. “Is that necessary?” Frosty asked. “What?” “The towel? I mean, I can see what’s down there, can’t—” Before he could finish, Miguel walked into the bathroom and shut the door. “I’m not gay, dude!” he yelled from inside. “Says the guy who hates girls!” Frosty yelled back. “And get out before I come out, else you won’t like it,” Miguel replied. Frosty chuckled. “That dude.” He shook his head. He left the room and shut the door. Miguel heard the door shut. He closed his eyes as he dipped himself in the bathtub. Silence filled the room. Just what he liked. The sound of silence in a warm bathtub. He was done with his bath. He took one of his casual tops and a pair of loose trousers and wore them. He wasn’t wearing anything fancy, yet he still looked like fire. Don’t stare for too long, or your eyes might literally get burnt… He was done and was just about to relax. A little rest before he goes back to the Repentance Hall for more training. The Repentance Hall was where his father always personally trained him. It had all kinds of weapons of destruction, exercise tools and equipments, and all that was needed to break him. Bit by bit, until he became what his father wanted him to be. An undefeatable leader! He sighed. “The struggles of an underboss. I haven’t seen you all day. You were with Dad, right?” Bobby asked, coming in. “I don’t remember registering your finger biometrics on my door.” Miguel raised his brows. “Actually, that was my doing.” Frosty entered the room. Before the door could shut, a leg was placed at the door. Nicki and Celestine marched in. “What’s this? A family meeting? You all should get lost. I want to rest.” Miguel closed his eyes like he had already slept. Two seconds later. “I thought I said you all should get out,” he voiced. “Tell Dad to stop,” Bobby complained. “This is too much, big brother,” Celestine crawled on the bed, just where Miguel was. He didn’t say anything. “Yes,” Nicki was just about to sit down beside Celestine. Her butt was halfway to the bed when Miguel used his hands to push her away. “What are you doing?” Her eyes widened. He literally pushed her away from her butt. “No one gets close to my bed if I don’t say so,” he muttered with all seriousness. “But Celestine is on your bed right now,” Nicki growled. “Last-born privileges,” he replied, and Celestine smiled brightly. “Close your teeth, bitch.” Nicki glared. “I don’t think you’re old enough to use that word, Nicki,” Bobby spoke up. “There’s just a two-year difference between us. You keep talking like some old man.” “You’re just 11, Nicki.” “And you’re just 13, Bob.” She stuck out her tongue. “Hey,” Miguel called their attention. “All of you.” He looked at each of them. “F.L.Y. Fly,” he spelled and pronounced, looking at them dead in the eyes. All of them got up immediately. He wasn’t joking. They left the room. “He must need to rest. I heard Dad wants him back in the Repentance Hall at the twentieth hour,” Bobby mouthed. “Must be tough,” Frosty replied. Miguel was trying his best to fall asleep. “Sleep. You need to rest to survive that torture,” he whispered to himself. And successfully dozed off. Lady Anthonia and Draco returned to their private suite. She was giving him a massage. He was lying on her lap while she narrated to him how her mission went. “We got to the warehouse location after signing the contract. “And that bald old man wanted to make a fool of us. “I heard the Lion's Den were the ones who bought the 4 pounds of our Licon that was incomplete “The Lion’s Den Clan was the second-highest mafia clan after the Blood Hunters. “Lucian, the Mafia Boss of the Lion’s Den, had been trying for years to be better than Draco, but that just seemed impossible because Draco was always one step ahead. “That’s another reason Draco was training Miguel this hard. He didn’t care if he was just 15 years of age. “He would work him to his bones. Drain his blood. Break him and reshape him until he became as undefeated as he was. “Miguel had to become his perfect Heir Apparent. The next Mafia Boss.” Lady Anthonia continued the narration…
