Chapter 5- Daichi

He was enraged. The daughter of the Goddess thwarted him yet again. She shoved him aside as the sunlight bathed the area she was in, rendering him unable to torture and kill the two individuals before him. They were ready to die for that piece of meat they call a daughter. 

He scoffed in disgust. That girl was, no, is the very bane of his existence. She always had it easy. Always. That’s why he must kill her and strip her of her powers before she finds out her true potential. However, she can’t do anything until she is mated to that eyesore of a mate of hers. He didn’t spend this long hunting them to come up empty handed. In this life she is known as Kimiko, but if anyone were to know who she really is….he shuddered. Things will not get that far. No one must know who she really is, and no one will as long as he has any say in it.

“Drathan, tie the corpses to the chairs. Slit their throats. Make it look like we did this.” Daichi ordered his right hand man to do. Once done, he knew it wasn’t enough. He dipped his fingers into the blood puddle at his feet, and began to write a message on the cream colored wall to the girl he was after. As soon as he was finished, he stepped away from the dead bodies. 

He thought to raid the house, but with how careful Ariadne was…he would never find anything of use in here. He growled, frustrated from the lack of progress he made. 

“Let’s go boys. It won’t be long until she returns, and the cops end up stopping by.” He ordered. He stopped mid stride and looked back at the c*****e. “Nigel, you’ll remain. I need to know what all happens here after I leave. Scout. Under no circumstances are you to be seen. Not even by her.” 

His scout nodded his agreement to order. Daichi walked away with vehemence and rage in his eyes. He must have that girl, or he’s as good as dead. No one will usurp or destroy him. Not even that wretched woman they call a Goddess. 

“I will have what’s mine,” Daichi growled as he got into his SUV. “even if I have to burn the world down to get her, she will be mine.”
