Honestly, when a video game you love so badly has just been released, don’t you want to do anything in your power to get that “treasure”? Yes, I know, I know…
In my case, when Grand Theft Auto was released, I felt a very tiny anxiety in my body. I felt like I could do anything I could possibly can to get that precious game! I remember me trying to sell my white XBOX 360 in a store that sells old used games, in hopes of getting enough money to buy it, but unfortunately to no avail.
My sister even suggested that I bought Grand Theft Auto III for the PS2, a game that, surprising enough, was released around the time when True Crime was also released.
But obviously, I wasn’t the very interested in buying the game, nor did I want to spend any money, in hopes of having enough money to buy the game I wanted so much.
Especially, I wanted to buy the PS3 version of the game, because if I bought the XBOX 360 version, I would have to pay a monthly fee to play GTA Online, which is a completely different situation to what the Playstation Network has to offer: a free service!
It was a very cold night of Christmas Eve that everything came full circle. I got a very special surprise that Christmas of 2013 that would certainly change my life forever.
At first, it seemed that I was just getting tricked by newsprint rolled inside a cardboard box. But no, it wasn’t. It was truly there. It was a Grand Theft Auto V game case for the PS3!
It was cleverly well hidden. I was finally getting what I was wishing for since late October. The first thing I did when I got to my room was taking a picture of the game case, post that photo to f******k and only then pop that thing into my PS3.
I was having goosebumps. It did take a ridiculous amount of time to install all the necessary things for the game to work. When it was all set and done, I started playing the first few hours of Story Mode.
