Hi, my real name is Kevin, and I was born on September 7th, 1992. I started to play

Grand Theft Auto back in 2001, a game that was on 2D, where I got to learn how to

love running away from the cops. The real "open-world" game that I first got to play

was the classic Shenmue II for the Dreamcast. But I know that wasn't a shooter game,

but Shenmue gave me an idea of what a "open-world" game really is. It felt like I was

virtually visiting the city of Hong Kong. The real "shooter" game that I played was True

Crime for the PlayStation 2, a game that I got on christmas of 2003, and by that time, i

wasn't well acknowledging that very well the concept of GTA. But there was an Easter

Egg in the game. When I used to drive through the streets of LA, I always came across a

poster hyping some sort of a film that would come out some time in 2005. And I

certainly became anxious for that sorts of film to come out. But obviously that film

never came to fruition. By twist of fate, in August of 2005, I received Grand Theft Auto:

San Andreas. I immediately fell in love with that game, not because of the graphics, but

because of its essence.

Three years after that, in 2008, I bought Grand Theft Auto IV for the XBOX 360, which

that I thought it was interesting, because of the graphics. And it was, because I could

feel that I was visiting New York for real. I was imagining that I was shooting a movie in

New York, and I was the protagonist of that movie. But then, I lost my track on the

missions because of the "Red Ring of Death". but afterwards, i got to enjoy the game in

other ways. After that, in July of 2010, I got Red Dead Redemption, another good

game, where instead of the city environment, we get the western environment, and

the cars are replaced with horses.

GTA V, for me, offers me a lot of fun for me, not only the story mode, but also Online

Mode, which teaches in some way, life. Like for example, how to save money to buy a new

house or a car, how to trust your friends in work, etc.

My first day in GTA Online
The very first day of me playing GTA Online was exactly on December 25th of 2013, right after dinner. It all started when I got out of the Los Santos International Airport. There was someone waiting for me. It was Lamar, who I used to talk to on Life Invader for a while now. After a little conversation that we had outside the van, Lamar invited me to enter his car, so we could continue our conversation inside the van. During our ride to an unknown location for me, Lamar explained to me step by step what I would be doing in GTA Online. He said that he preferred to test my driving skills, so he revealed he was taking me to compete in a little competition that he arranged just for the two of us. In reality, he just needed to see how good I was driving, how well I could brake, corner, and avoid wrecks with traffic and obstacles. After entering the contest, they gave me the option to choose between a few different vehicles, then change its color and select a victory gesture. And the competition begins! Once the contest was over, Lamar receives a phone call from a good friend of his called Gerard, who he uses to hail him G. After he hung up the phone, he told me that The Vagos and The Ballas, two of the most dangerous groups in Los Santos, have “squashed” their cultural differences, and asked if I can do a slight favor to G by “shaking up” the free market economy a bit. I promptly responded by waving my head, signifying that I accepted my initial “task” in GTA Online. And off I went to the mission, the early of many to come. When I got to the destination, I soon started shooting the first person who appeared before me, followed by many others. Once everybody was laid on the ground, I grabbed the “material” and raced to the car to deliver it to Gerard. When I arrived at the address, Lamar spotted me and knocked at the door. The door opened, and Gerald came out to get what he wanted. He was wearing a white hat, brown sunglasses and a long necklace around his neck. I gave the “work” and, in exchange, he handed over me $500 in cash, which would come to be my first salary. He was an anti-social type of guy, but deep inside, he knew he could count on me whenever he needed me. Finally, I got a little time of the day to play snowballs with other players, thus making some new friends. Indeed some of them were surprisingly kind enough to give me some cash! It was a good blast of a day to start in what would come my new, exciting job.
