Dinner was enjoyable tonight. Although I could tell she was putting up a bit of a front, I could also tell Alaia was having a good time. It was nice to see her joke around a bit and laugh with everyone. She is truly the full package. I say this so often, but we were so lucky to be blessed with her. The Moon Goddess gave us the perfect mate.
Conversation remained light, trying to distract everyone from the ongoing issues at hand. I could tell dad was a little stressed. We have been away from the pack for pushing two weeks now.
