After Marcus and his family got settled and we hashed out plans going forward, everyone left my uncles’ office and took some time to relax. I made my way up to our bedroom and decided to sit out on the balcony. It is truly beautiful and helps me calm down. It is difficult thinking about this all the time. I try not to let all this weigh on me too heavily, but it is hard not to given the current circumstances. I feel bad that my grandparents are having to investigate someone who, while they aren’t typically involved with the family, is in fact family. I know it hurts my grandfather’s heart because this could all end up looping back and starting with his brother. I just don’t understand why his brother would be involved. He was of Alpha blood.
