I was unsurprisingly impressed as I watched Alaia calmly speak with Marcus once we moved into her uncles’ office. Looking at the young man, I felt bad. He was put in a tough spot. He could either protect his family by doing what this guy wanted him to do, or not and he could lose everyone important to him. Whoever this wolf is that threatened Marcus and his family is clearly scary enough to put the fear of the Moon Goddess into him. Watching Marcus, I couldn’t help but think what I would do if I were put in that position. Of course, we come from different backgrounds and lead different lives, but the truth remains the same: I would do ANYTHING to protect the important people in my life and those I love.
