I open my eyes and work hard to suppress the groan that desperately wants to come out. Today is the day where Alaia and Tommy will meet all their extended family on their father’s side. I have mixed feelings about this. I want both Alaia and Tommy to meet everyone and know where they are from. I want them to hear more stories about their father and get to know him through everyone else who loved him so dearly. The part I struggle most with is the fact that we have no idea at all who threatened Jonathan and if they are still around. What’s worse is we don’t know if they are coming today or not.
