William called on a bartender and asked him to deliver a bottle of Vodka to the girl on Italian knee-high boot. The bartender did as instructed and delivered the wine.
"Am sure we didn't request for that, so where is it coming from." The lady asked.
The bartender pointed at William who waved at her on noticing the gesture.
The lady was infuriated by William's act so she walked up to him to return his kind gesture.
"I told you she will come." William whispered to the surprised Miller.
"Maybe you had the wrong idea, but I am no beggar." The lady said on getting to William and Miller's table with the Vodka.
"Wow, I didn't think that would work you know." Miller said, ignoring the presence of the lady.
"Don't forget I once studied Human psychology." William bragged as he noticed that Miller was purposely ignoring the lady.
"Look who we have here, My Beloved herself." Miller laughed sarcastically at Davina who was now standing with blood shot eyes due to anger, if she hated anything apart from been outsmarted, it most be been ignored. She tried to smash the bottle of Vodka on Miller's head but thanks to William sharp instinct he was able to prevent Miller from having injured head but he ended up having his palm injured. Miller was shocked at the sharp turn of events, he quickly brought out his handkerchief and tied William's hands with it.
"Thanks for today Mr. Bravado, but this is not over yet." Davina concluded and quickly left the scene. She left for her house after informing Ashley who was still engrossed in the arm wrestling tournament. He decided to leave the Clubhouse with her as it was too late to let her go by herself.
Miller and William also decided to go back home since William would be traveling tommorow and he already got himself a deep cut on his hand. It was already past midnight so they hurried home to get some rest before sunrises the next morning. The two drove in silence until William's husky voice broke the silence.
"You shouldn't have embarrassed the poor girl like that. I mean, it's obvious you like her." William complained.
"I don't like her at all." Miller denied
"Yes you do Miller."
"No I don't. Do you seriously believe in love at first sight? Do you even know who she is?" Miller asked. "Before you jump into conclusions." He muttered to himself.
"As for love at first sight..........maybe yes but for who she is, I'm not so sure so the Who is she?" William curiously asked as they drove into their compound.
"Well, she is the arms dealer I told you about, the one you claimed was running out all the fierce FBI agents." Miller's expression hardened.
"Wow, you didn't mention she was this beautiful. And what did she call you earlier? Mr Bravado. You know that's a perfect description of you."
Miller gave his brother a frightening look and remained silent. They got out of his car and both into their room.
"Why don't we sleep in my room since I would be leaving tommorow." William suggested.
Miller nodded in agreement and went into his room to change into his nighties before going back to his brother's room. It he wasn't leaving the next day, Miller would obviously not want to talk to him that night talk more of sleeping in his room, but then he had no other choice than to accept the offer or he might regret I later on.
"Why can't you just stay in Eureka just until I leave?" Miller asked William a rhetorical question.
"I have a whole lot of paperwork to do back at Henderson and I also have some appointments to take care of. You should already know some people won't let surgeries be performed on them without my presence." William explained.
"I hate the fact that you still work this much even though you own the hospital." Miller lamented. "Anyway, go to sleep now, you have a long journey ahead of you." He concluded.
"Hey, one last piece of advice. William paused for a while before he continued. "Be careful when you fall in love." He said. "Oh and don't forget, Matilda is still waiting for you." He added.
ROSEWOOD EUREKA
Before going to bed that night, Davina thought hard about the embarrassment she had to go through because of Miller and she swore to take revenge on Miller no matter how little it might be even though she felt a bit guilty for what she did to William.
With Melrose Shrimp and Jazz Brunch on the dinning table for breakfast, Davina could tell that her day was going to be perfect. She sat on one of the chairs at the dinning room and hurriedly munched a chunk of Melrose Shrimp in her mouth without been bothered about Ashley's absence in the room.
"You sure have no table manners." Ashley exclaimed as he stepped into the dinning room and saw the way Davina was devouring he food.
"I know right." She agreed with a mouthful of Jazz Brunch.
Ashley smiled at her, "Well I have a great news for you."
"Let me take a guess; we would be having Tamago Burger with White Chocolate Bread Pudding for lunch." Davina said with excitement.
"No we are not." Ashley scolded, unsurprised by her excess love for food.
Davina grinned, "Then away with it."
Ashley placed a poster on the table and sat on a chair beside her and began devouring his breakfast.
On going through the poster, Davina exclaimed with a huge lump on food on her mouth, sprinkling the food on her mouth all over the table and on Ash's body.
"A car racing competition in two days time? Wow, I knew today was going to be filled with good news."
Ashley whose whole body where now sprinkled with chewed Shrimp scowled at Davina who didn't even notice as a result of excitement.
"I've finally gotten a perfect chance to exert my revenge." Davina thought to herself.
Few minutes after their breakfast, Davina walked up to Ashley who was playing a video game. She sat very close to him forcing him to notice her presence. Ashley turned to look at Davina who was now very close to her and their lips mistakenly collided. Ashley quickly moved back and tried to prevent Davina from hearing his heartbeat.
"What now?" Ashley exclaimed, trying to divert Davina's attention from the unexpected kiss.
"Hey sorry about that, but can you run an errand for me?" Davina asked unconcerned by the unexpected kiss as she blinked her eyes faster than the speed of light.
Ashley jerked; "What is it."
"Can you help me pass this to Agent Miller?" Stretching the poster at Ashley, she asked.
Ashley frowned, "What's your deal with that guy."
"I have an unfinished business with him."Davina said.
"Want me to help you deal with........"
"No! Davina rudely interrupted. "I will handle him my way." She concluded.
Ashley sighed. "Give me his address."
"If I have them, I won't be asking for your help." She fired at him. "Most importantly, don't let him know u sent in." She added.
"You are so impossible." Ashley smirked.
