Meeting the Family
“Girls, wake up, you’re going to be late for school!” Mom shouted down the hall.
Ugh, why didn’t my alarm clock wake me up!? I glance at my clock, and oh my gosh! It’s 8 freaking o’clock! I jump out of bed and rush to my bathroom.
Once I finished, I headed over to my closet to find what I’m going to wear. It’s the first day of my senior year! I need to make a good first impression at school, I thought to myself. I quickly found my favorite outfit, but as I looked around, I couldn’t find my favorite boots. “WHO STOLE MY BOOTS!!” I shout to no one in particular.
As I quickly walk out of my room and see my brother Connor smirking at me. Then headed downstairs. I gave him an evil eye to the back of his head and headed to my older sister Clara’s room.
When I opened her door, I heard my nephew Nicholas, crying, and my sister trying to feed him. “Have you seen my dark brown ankle high-heeled boots?” I asked in a whisper. “No” she replies without looking up and I head out the room.
I go to my youngest sister Haven’s room. I hear her talking to one of her friends in the bathroom while getting ready. I didn’t want to bother her, so I just glanced around her room, if she possibly had my shoes, but she didn’t. I left her room silently and headed to my second youngest Gen short for Genesis’s room.
I opened her door and started shouting at her, “HEY GEN, WHERE’S MY SHOES?” I see her still sleeping. Oh well, it was worth a try I thought to myself. I looked around her room, and saw my shoes on the other side of her room, in front of her windows. I take a shortcut, jumping across her bed, to retrieve my shoes. I once again jump across her bed saying, “If you don’t wake up, I’m going to see how high I can jump.” She grumbled something from under her blanket, covered her face, and told me to get out in a sleepy voice.
I left her room to finish getting ready. Then I headed downstairs to eat breakfast. I saw everyone but Gen already eating breakfast in the breakfast nook. I went into the kitchen and got a bowl, spoon, cereal, and milk, and sat down at the table. I quickly finished, put everything away, and headed out to the garage.
I pulled out my car keys, and started the engine, got in, and opened my garage door. I turned up my radio and headed over to pick up two of my friends Kayla and Freya.
