Melanie's Pov "Yh ,they say good bye ,I say hello never on the same page coz I read things , so terrible I get bored too quick ,man lady hd there it goes again said I need to get my s**t together ........bang ,bang . "I jerked up as my phone fell down from my hand onto the floor. I realized it was my younger brother calling me again because daddy is calling me . I decided not to mind him as he's never sensible in the way he calls human being . I mean why can't he just call me calmly mtchew. "Moments later , Mel ,,, he called nicely because he realized his mistake . Better ,I mumbled and opened my door . "what ,I said ,, daddy is calling you ,came his voice. okay ,I replied and left with him ." "Dad , you called for me ,,, "yes , Go to the store to take foodstuffs from your mother and come and cook . he said." I was looking down but I jerked my head a little and turned around to go ,,Mel ,,I am talking to you , he said . "Okay ,I mumbled and left to my room ." "Why can't they just make up their mind ,why !! , it's already four pm and they are telling me to go and cook , really ,, I mean when ,,when will my parents have sense . I was there the whole day doing nothing but they didn't tell me to cook ,now that its already evening that i don't want to do anything ,they are now telling me to go and cook .hmm , all is well that ends well . I said and left to the store. Some minutes later , I reached the store and I just took the foodstuffs and left for home . 5:30 pm Mel ,are you done , my dad asked me ,, No ,I replied ."ah ah ,so you are not done with the food , that long time you are not done with the food ,the children are crying in hunger and you are there flexing instead of hurrying up ? my dad exclaimed and I hummed quietly . I decided to zone him out as I am not ready for him at this moment. I just put finishing touches to the rice and served everyone and entered my room . The moment i tried to remove my dress,,, Melanie!! ,my dad called ,,yes dad,I replied . oh God , what again ,I mumbled . "Mel ,why didn't you put enough salt in the food , do you hate me that much .. ,just because you won't eat ,you made this terrible food for us right .if you won't do it .................. " hmmm , I hmmed quietly and looked at the time ,it's already 6:00, almost 7:00 and this man has started his lectures .oh God please help me otherwise i won't be able to even sleep today . He continued talking and talking and when I adjusted my leg because my leg was paining . " you will adjust your legs too ,anytime I try to talk to you or advice , your leg will start paining you ....... oh God ,I mumbled ,,till when . 8:09 pm It's already 8 and he seems to be wrapping up ,, then I heard my mom enter the house . Okay,,you can go ,my dad said .As I stood up to go ,my mom emerged from the front door of the hall . " She's going to the room again ,so Mel ,, which boy do you even sneak in your room that you are always in your room huh , ,she said ." I looked at her with utter confusing and didn't reply her. " I mean she's always in her room .she will never come out ,, even when you call her ,she will come and do whatever you ask her and go why ,, what kind of child are you ,,and the worst thing is she doesn't even care that someone is talking to her , this girl is simply disrespectful....." My mom went on and on and I didn't even mind her ,she will never miss an opportunity to criticize me .hmm I hmmed quietly and left when I figured she was done with her tantrums. I entered my room and cried my eyes out ,like why ,, why am I always bad .why is it that my parents are always talking and in distress because of me .why won't they just understand me . why ,is it a sin to be in my room if I have nothing else to do ,whyyy ?? I cried . Next morning. I opened my eyes as a ray of sunlight hit my face . Today is another day ,I just hope this people will not make me angry . As I was lying down ,I heard my dad telling my sister to come and call me .the moment I heard it ,I sprang up immediately and went outside to the kitchen. "Melanie" ,,my dad called me since the kitchen is opposite the hall and the hall is where he is always . "yes dad " ,I replied and went to stand in the middle of the hall . " so you've come and you tell me ." he said " you are looking at me and you are expecting me to alert you again hmm " I said in my head as I dare not voice out my thoughts. " Go and wash the utensils and clean the kitchen. After that look for other unfinished work and do it . don't go to the room and sleep. okay. " I turned around to go as he had finished talking . " if she will ever mind you..." I heard my dad mumble but I didn't pay attention to him and left. I entered the kitchen and washed the utensils and scrubbed the kitchen neatly.After I was done , I entered my room and took my phone to watch my movies . The moment i logged in on f*******: ,, " Melanie"!! my dad called . " hmm ,,yes dad " I replied and left. " dad ,u called for me ." I said when I reached the hall . " so you've entered your room again huh ,,have you washed the utensils" " yes " I replied " what about the kitchen,did you scrub there " " yes" " did you wash your grandma's bowl after she finished eating " " yes " " have you checked if there's anything left to do?"
