Chapter 7

I was busy minding my own business when my butler suddenly came in.

“Victor,” sambit ko sa pangalan niya. Yumuko naman siya nang bahagya bilang pag bati sa akin.

“Madame, greetings. Sorry for intruding, I am carrying a very important news for you,” sambit niya sa akin. Nag tatakha naman akong tumingin sa kanya.

“What is it?” nag tatakhang tanong ko sa kanya.

“We found your parents’ killer,”

Few words but my world instantly spiralled. Hindi ako maka galaw dahil sa sinabi ni Victor sa akin.

“Who killed my parents, Victor?” I asked after sometime, gathering my courage to mutter those words.

Agad niyang inabot sa akin ang folder na hawak niya, binuksan ko ang folder at na kita ko ang pangalan ng nagpa patay sa mga magilang ko. Now, I understand why did the case got closed instantly because of this powerful killer.

“Karahan,” mahinang banggit ko sa pangalan niya nang ma basa ko ang buong impormasyon na nasa folder.

“It was stated that he wants to bring down your parents, that’s why you also needs to be careful,” habilin sa akin ni Victor. Tumingin naman ako sa kanya nang naka kunot ang noo.

“Be careful? He is the one who needs to be careful, Victor,” nata tawang sagot ko sa kanya. Tumango naman si Victor sa akin at bahagyang ngumisi.

“Yeah, I almost forgot, you are one of the most dangerous mafia successor, madame,” naka ngiting sambit niya sa akin. Hindi naman ako sumagot sa kanya at sumandal sa swivel chair ko.

Iniisip ko kung paano ako makaka ganti sa mga Karahan.

“Karahan have a son, lined to have his position,” sambit pa ni Victor sa akin. Napa tingin naman ako sa kanya nang nag tatakha.

“Lined? So he didn’t step down to his position?” nag tatakhang tanong ko pa rito. Marahan namang tumango si Victor sa sinabi ko.

“It seems like he wants to achieve something,” sagot nito sa akin. Napa nguso naman ako sa sinabi niya sa akin.

“Maybe he wants to take down someone,” naka taas ang kilay na sambit ko sa kanya. Tumango naman siya sa akin.

“Maybe madame, w e doesn’t know his plans but we can already see them through his schemes,” tuma tangong sagot ni Victor sa akin.

Man like him doesn’t deserve to live at all. We already saw through his greed that he wants to take down me before stepping down to his position but he won’t get what he wants because I will definitely eliminate him before he would have the chance to take me down.

“Any information about his son?” naka taas ang kilay na tanong ko kay Victor.

“His name is Eren Karahan, he have a promising background, he is said to be ruthless, merciless and he doesn’t like his father at all,”

Tumaas ang kilay ko sa sinabi ni Eren.

“What do you mean he doesn’t like his father at all? Is he adopted or what?”

“His father is the reason why his mother is dead, his mother killed herself when he was a kid because she cannot afford to see his son getting beaten everyday due to his training that his husband wants, and he also have a sister but she was hidden to the eyes of his enemies and his own father.” mahabang sambit ni Victor. Napa tingin naman ako sa kanya.

“His own father? I thought they have a very good relationship,” naka taas ang kilay na sambit ko kay Victor. Agad naman siyang umiling sa akin bilang sagot.

“They don’t have a very good relationship with each other, madame,” sambit ni Victor sa akin. Napa tango naman ako sa sinabi niya.

“I think because of what he did to him when he was just a child?” nag tatakhang tanong ko kay Victor. Tumango ito sa akin.

“Yes, he grew up from beating after beating, he was taught to hold a gun when he was just a kid, and when he turned ten, he killed someone, he took grudge from what his father did, they don’t have a very good relationship at the moment but his father got him a hold on his neck because of his sister,” sagot ni Victor sa akin.

I am digesting every information he is saying.

“That’s interesting,” naka ngising sambit ko sa kanya.

“Does his father knows his sister’s whereabouts?” nag tatakhang tanong ko sa kanya. Agad namang tumango si Victor sa akin.

“Yes, he can instantly track the whereabouts of his own daughter, and that’s what Eren fears the most, his father making his own move against him and using his own sister,” pa buntong hiningang sambit ni Victor sa akin.

Agad akong napa ngiwi sa sinabi niya sa akin at tumango. Hawak siya ng tatay niya sa leeg niya dahil sa kapatid niya.

“He is basically his own father’s dog,” naka taas ang kilay na sagot ko kay Victor na siyang ikina tango niya sa akin.

Yes madame, that’s right,” tuma tangong sambit niya sa akin. Napa buntong hininga naman ako sa sinabi niya sa akin.

“There’s a new news about the Karahan’s” sambit ni Victor. NApa tingin naman ako sa kanya at sinenyasan ko siyang magpa tuloy sa sasabihin niya.

“It says that they wants to bring you down using his own son.” seryosong sagot ni Victor sa akin na siyang ikina tawa ko.

“Is that so?” naka taas ang kilay na tanong ko sa kanya. Tumango naman si Victor sa sinabi ko.

“Yes madame, it looks like they are now desperate,”

“Mhm, lots of people wants to bring me down, I wonder why,” simula sa tito ko na gustong ma kuha ang kayamanan ko, at ang mga Karahan na gusto rin akong pabagsakin.

“Maybe because of the power you hold madame,” sambit ni Victor sa akin. Ngumisi naman ako sa sinabi niya sa akin.

“Prepare my documents, I am going to the philippines,”
