I was skeptical about trying to reach out to Joy again. What if I fail? What if I had imagined the whole thing? After failing the first time and feeling my heart drop to my stomach, I was more than ready to give up. I am glad I didn't though, because Joy was on the other side when I tried again.
I could barely hear a word she was saying but she was there and that was more than I could have hoped for. The connection almost sounded as if there was static interference which made no sense, it was all in the mind, so how could there be a signal problem?
