Iris West’s POV. Alpha Kristen stepped aside so I could get in. I stood still. I did not want to ride with him. “I’m not riding with you.” I did not have any other option but I wanted to let him know that I did not want to be near him at all. “Why?” He asked. “The Alpha usually rides alone.” I mimicked Miguel’s words from earlier. “Usually, not always. Now, get it.” Alpha Kristen said curtly. “Please send for the other carriage. I do not mind waiting.” I said. “Ms. West. Don’t let me force you in, myself.” Alpha Kristen said.
