Iris stared at my car that had just pulled up in front of us like it was a monster. I knew that she had never been to the human world before.
“Calm down. It’s just a car.” I said.
“Aekar?” She asked, looking confused.
This is going to be a very tiring process.
“No. A car. Like a bus, a car.” I explained.
“Ohhhhh.” She said.
Something told me she did not understand it. She would find out later, anyway. Miguel went over to the driver's seat and started the car.
I held open the back door for her.
