Chapter 6

Ravèns pov

I am still utterly shocked by this new information, they are different in so ways.

"Hey, do you want a drink?" Rebecca asks me

Quick Raven come up with an excuse

"no thanks I'm driving"

"Come on live a little" she keeps pushing

"No it's okay I make enough stupid decisions while sober" I laugh it off hoping she will buy it and luckily she does

"I guess so," she says while laughing with me

"Hey do you guys wanna go dance?" Rebecca asks us

"Oh no we're just gonna hang back here and catch up with each other" Keisha says to her

Then Rebecca goes to dance with a few other people

"So how have you been?" Keisha asks me

"I've been better but I'm okay. I just need to stay far away from drinks and drugs. I've been going to my therapist once a week to just get everything out"

"You know you can speak to me about anything. You are my best friend after all"

"I know Keisha," I say we hug each other

"I'll always be here for you," she says and I just smile at her

Hunters Pov

After Ravèn left me I went back inside towards my friends she is definitely hiding something, the way she reacted to me was not normal.

When I reach them sit back down where I was before

"Did you find her?" Lorelai asks

"Yeah I found her" I respond

"What was she doing?" She asks again

"She wasn't doing anything she was standing outside and now I've pissed her off," I say

"of course you have. You have a real talent of doing that." Austin says as he shakes his head and they all just laugh

"f**k off," I say and leave them and try to go and find her

5 minutes later

I've been all of the house and outside and I can't find her. She must of gone home.

"Do you want a drink?" I hear and I turn around and see her with two other girls. One black with long curly hair and the other white with red hair. Where have I seen the redhead before?

"No thanks I'm driving" Ravèn says back to her

"Come on live a little," she says trying to get her to drink

"No it's okay I make enough stupid decisions while sober," she says laughing but there's just something off about it. What is she hiding?

But the redhead believes her and laughs it off she then asks " hey do you guys wanna go dance?"

Then the black girl speaks for the first time and says"Oh no we're just gonna hang back here and catch up with each other" and the redhead goes to dance with other people

"So how have you been" the other girl asks Ravèn

I turn around and was about to go since she was a busy but then hear something that catches my attention

"I've been better but I'm okay. I just need to stay far away from drinks and drugs. I've been going to my therapist once a week to just get everything out"

Therapist? Need to stay away for drinks and drugs? What is she on about? why?

"You know you can speak to me about anything. You are my best friend after all" the black girl says to her

"I know, Keisha" Ravèn says as they hug each other. So that's her name.

"I'll always be here for you," Keisha says and Ravèn just smiles at her.

What did all of that mean? I put all of my questions and walk up to them as if I wasn't just eavesdropping on their conversation.

"Hello blondie," I say to her and they both look towards me.

Ravèns pov

"Hello blondie" is what I hear and both Keisha and I look to our left and it's the last person I wanted to see

"Hunter what a surprise," I say through gritted teeth

"Don't be so bitter smile your at a party?" he says while he is laughing and punching my cheeks but I smack his hand away for the second time tonight

Just leave me alone I haven't got time to deal with you tonight I say to him

Deal with me? I only wanted to be your friend he says

Since when I ask him

what's so wrong with being friends he asks

Nothing but when it comes to you, I don't trust you.

Ouch. Are you trying to hurt my feelings he fake pouts and put a hand on his heart

Whatever, what do you want? I ask him

Well aren't you going to introduce me to your friend he says while looking at Keisha

"I wasn't planning on it but if it sends you away, Hunter this is Keisha, Keisha this asshole that you are witnessing is Hunter" I say

"Asshole?" He asks

I'm sorry is there something else you wanted me to call you

"You can call me whatever you want to call me blondie," he says as he puts a strand of my hair behind my ear

"Then I will stick to calling you asshole," I say with a smirk

"Whatever you want blondie," he says

"Don't call me that" I say annoyed

"Don't call you what?" he asks

"Blondie" I answer

"Why not?" he asks me

"Because I don't like it," I say

Is there something else that you would like me to call you

"Yes, I want you to call me Ravèn which is my name," I say

"Nah I think I will stick to blondie it suits you better," he says

"You are so annoying," I say and turn to look back toward Keisha and he just laughs

I turn back to him and he's still standing there looking at me as if there is something else he wasn't to say to me.

"We there anything else? You're looking at me like you have more to say" I ask and say

"Yeah I do in fact," he says with his arms crossed

"and what would that be I say leaning against the wall"

"why do you need to stay away from drinks and drunks and why do you have a therapist," he asks and like that, I feel like time has stopped right at that moment

"What did you just ask me" I ask in disbelief

" I said why do you need..." And before he got to finish his question I slapped him so hard everyone heard and the music turned off now everyone was looking at us

"First you think you know me and now you're eavesdropping on my conversations?" I ask and he just stands there with his hand on his cheek which is now red and he is not believing what has happened right now.

"Let me tell you something," I say as I step closer to him" you don't know me, you don't know a thing about me and you never will, stay out of my business and mind your own or else"

With that I walk out of the house and toward my car with Keisha following behind

"Do you need a ride?" I ask her

"Yes please I came with Rebecca and I don't think she's ready to leave yet"

We both get in the car and I drive away.
