A SIMPLE FAMILY
It is the kind of family I wish for, a wish that cannot happen anymore.
When I was 10 years old, my parents got separated and I felt severely sad. I always ask my mom about it but she always ignores me.
5 years later...
Time has passed, and a lot has happened. Somehow, Mom and I have moved on. There are still days when I think about Dad. One day I got up the courage to talk to Mom.
"Mom, what really happened? Why did you and Papa break up?"
"We have a problem". A simple word came from her mouth.
"What problem is it? Please tell me, I want to know the truth."
A long silence came after, as tears started to fall from her eyes. I just saw Mama cry again since she and my dad broke up, and it hurts me even more. I tried to hide my tears as I hugged her tightly.
"Mom, I understand I'm really sorry I didn't mean to hurt you, it's really hard for both of us, especially you. I know all the sacrifices you made to show Dad that we can survive without him in our lives.
