ASHLEY’S POV I’d been staring at spreadsheets for so long that the numbers began to blur together, but I forced myself to keep digging. One obscure folder led to another, deeper and darker than anything I had seen in the official books. My fingers trembled as I opened a file labeled “Consulting—External, Project 7.” Its contents made my stomach twist.
