Chapter 54: Capture the dungeon

On the northern end part of the map. The two girls reached their destination. A giant ruined castle was located.
Standing in the front of it were Kaede and Ronie. Kaede gave a big smile and beside her was the opposite. Ronie is having a hard time chasing her breath.
The speed is felt is too extreme. She is still feeling nervous.
“You did your best… now return and rest.”
Kaede patted Biscuits head. After that, Biscuit returns to the familiar's realm.
“This is the first time I heard about this dungeon.”
Kaede investigated the surroundings and location of the dungeon. She knows it because she used to train to the near mountain area and the lost forest where she found the girl named Layla before.
“It's from the new update… The dungeon is not yet captured by anyone. The rare items that can only be found in this dungeon are not yet to be found. Many players already tried to capture this dungeon but none of them succeeded. It's said that there’s a lot of traps and dangerous monsters inside.”
“Does anyone reached the boss room of this dungeon?”
“I believe no one has ever reached it yet. The players said that the dungeon was constructed on many levels. The maze is confusing the moment they entered the entrance.”
“I see…”
Kaede replied.
Kaede walked to the castle and rub the door. She then waked steps beside it to the concrete wall.
“What are you trying to do?”
Asked Ronie.
Kaede drew her white sword from her waist and seriously has fix stare on the wall.
“... Don’t tell me you’re going to break the wall?!”
“You said the entrance is dangerous. That’s why I’m going to make my way to go inside this dungeon.”
“That’s impossible! That’s impossible!”
“Sword s***h!’
Kaede smashed her sword and destroyed the wall. Resulting in a big hole in the wall. Kaede hop inside and turned her head to Ronie. Who has a rather uncanny expression on her face?
She is shocked by Kaede’s weird ways of solving things.
Ronie hop inside and together she walked with Kaede inside the dungeon. The wall whose destroyed by Kaede was rebuild. The debris levitated forming the wall back to normal state.
“I never seen someone used such tactic in entering the dungeon.”
“I wonder where are we?”
“I’m sorry Kaede-san, but the dungeon is not yet to be captured the map is not available yet. Some players made maps of the levels but they keep it for themselves and not our for public yet.”
“I see… There are many selfish people in this world. Still, I know we can finish this quest in no time.”
Kaede is very optimistic about many things. Ronie looking to Kaede on tackling things made her adore her more.
Kaede-san is in just cute. She is also good at communicating with people she has rarely talked to before. I wonder how she’s able to socialize easily. Is it because of her cute appearance? Or maybe there's more to it…
Ronie didn’t notice she si spacing out while looking directly at Kaede's face. Kaede put her hand on her face and wipe something.
“Is my face messy?”
“No! No! No! Not at all! Kaede si adorable!”
“Huh? Many people say that, but I don’t think that at all. I’m always looking to mirror every morning but I don’t see anything outstanding.”
Kaede said while scratching the back of her head.
Kaede is not lying when she said it. Kaede doesn’t put herself higher than anyone. She thinks she is lonely and has only a few friends. She is not as popular with the idols she saw on television or in school idols dancing in their school.
“So humble… I wish to learn many things from Kaede-san. Kaede-san… Can I become your disciple?!”
“What’s with that sudden…”
“I’m awkward and not good at socializing. I want to learn more about Kaede-san’s ways. I want to improve myself.”
“I don’t think I’m good to be a master… I wonder what kind of things I can teach to Ronie?”

Kaede was hesitant and don’t know what to do. Looking toward Ronie's sparkling eyes she found out that she don’t have much choice to refuse.
Ronie is lonely as her. Kaede thought she might be close to Ronie if she plays along with her.
Kaede nodded briefly.
Her response made a big smile on Ronie’s face.
“I’ll do my best Master!”
It's embarrassing to hear being called a master.
The two girls continue their venture inside the dungeon. Walking in the hallway they encounter many traps. Pit hole with spike, Acid lakes, arrows, and many more.
On their way, they also defeated various monsters. It's very easy for them because Kaede’s Strenght is beyond them. One strike with Kaede’s word. The monster was reduced to light particles.
“I started to feel tired.”
“It's normal in this new update. The new update implemented Stamina. It limits our walking speed and more. Some physical skills used too much stamina so we need to be careful Master.”
“Is that so… I don’t bother to read and check the new update. I don’t know much about it.”
“Well, No one is bothered to read that much paragraph. So Master should be cheerful.”
Kaede open her menu and read some of the new elements added to the game.

Cruel Cleave: Sword cleave. (Passive) (0 MP)
Meteor s***h: Considered ultimate skill. The player can only use this skill with her Ultimate skill Sword demon form was activated. Let the player move at high speed and strike her opponent. The skill has a 1000% attack increase. (80 MP)
Defensive swing: Sudden movement of player's body in a critical situation. Lets her blocks attack from the area she doesn’t have a vision of. This skill has a probability of 1 out of 200. 0.5% chance of succeeding.
(Magical counters are equivalent to 20 MP can be used as Mp replacement.)
(Bizzare eater was usage every day was increased to 20 times per day.)
Kaede didn’t think much about it and didn’t notice how many skills are erased on her. To the number of skills, she gained before. Kaede can't remember them all in a short period.
Kaede has two swords.
Moon piercing sword (Skill: Black poison dragon abilities)

Royal White sword (Skill: Repel)
Looking on her menu she saw a notification on her email and opened it. Opening it she was awarded many golds. And the message about the changes that happened on her account and to the game.
I was confused Kaede don’t read the whole email.
With the amount of fortune she gets. Kaede thinks about it…
“Since we're in the dungeon. I guess I want to gather some materials too. I want a new sword and attach some new skill to it.”
“Master is awesome. Attaching skills on equipment reduces MP consumption. But in exchange, the skill can is used if the item is not equipped. For a player that doesn’t have much MP that’s great. I learned something from Master!”
“Well… It's something like that. So I got lots of rewards.”
The lightning spear came falling from above and surrounded Kaede and Ronie.
“Kukukukuku… I see… I see, this is the rumored Sword demon. I overheard your conversation. Having that many blessings from the game. You better share it player like myself.”
A stranger appeared. A man wearing normal steel plate armor and a long spear in his hand.
“Sword s***h!”
Kaede swings her sword to the spears that trapped them.
But the spear lightning shocks runs toward Kaede's sword toward her body.
“Gyaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!”
Kaede screamed in pain. But her HP was only reduced to 1.
“It's impossible... Don't waste your time… My skill thunder spear prison is indestructible. You can get out there until I said so.”
“What do you want? From us.”
“That supposed to be obvious. I’m a bandit player. I want some items and gold if you give me what I wanted. I will consider letting you two free. Kaede got that sword forge with black poison dragon. I wanted it and a few million of gold. I know you have it. You win many events before.”
“I know we can just log out on the game.”
Ronie suggested.
“Nope… When we log in… Our characters will appear in the same place we log out. That means we’ll be stuck in this same place.”
Kaede said to Ronie. Ronie became worried.
The bandit cruel smile.
“Clever… The sword demon is good at thinking. Since you understand me. Please give me my demands. The sword and money.”
“Sorry, but that's not going to happen. I’m an expert after all.”
“Expert in what?”
“Expert in breaking things!”
Kaede slams her sword and breaks the floor where they are standing. She remembered that the dungeon was constructed on many levels. She thought that there are floors beneath the place their standing.
The floor breaks and a hole was made. Kaede and Ronie escaped the thunder spear prison.
