Chapter 36: A glimpse to the future

Holding her sword tightly. Chasing her breath. Kaede and her whole party are exhausted already. Looking at the top left of her vision she’s seeing her HP bar decreasing to the red zone.
Turning her glance in front of her was a huge monster. Body of a giant human, head of a Taurus, and tail of a serpent. On its hand were two giant swords able to split the earth.
“Roaaaaaaaaaaaaaawl!” The monster made a howling voice that echoed around the surrounding area.
The room was another boss room and upon entering the room there is no chance of anyone leaving this room. The only way to escape this room is to defeat the monster shown in front of them.
“Kaede... I’m sorry but I feel like I already reached my limit.”
Yuki said as she drops down to the ground. Clover rescued her immediately and cast healing skills on her body.
“Yuki you can hang in there… You're the strongest girl we ever met. You can be dying here… Please, Yuki!”
“Yuki… Grrr…”
Kaede gritted her teeth and turned her glaring eyes back on the monsters. With anger on her heart. Kaede without any hesitation kicks the ground and runs toward the monster's position. With two swords in her hands, she swings them with full desperation on her mind.
The monster attacks with its giant sword clashing with Kaede’s sword. Kaede blocked the sword with hers and made a counterattack.
“Sword s***h! Repulse!”
“Explosion Arrow barrage!”
Countless arrows were fired toward the face of the monster. Covering its vision.
“This is for what you did on Yuki!”
Kaede slashed its arms severing it and losing its ability to use one of its swords. Kaede leaps to the top of its body and charges her sword with skill energy. Her sword glows in faint red color.
Her eyes turned red and on her vision usual code of “Warning” appeared.
[Warning! Error code 403.]
[Forbidden.]
“I don’t care anymore… I don’t care anymore! I don’t care anymore. I don’t care if this bends the game system! This is not a game anymore!”
Kaede shouted and swings her sword toward its neck. But the monster sin was so sturdy for Kaede to pierced. The raging eyes of the monster turned into Kaede and with just one arm. It attacks Kaede directly.
Kaede has blasted away a breaks the huge pillars. The monster charged toward Kaede and with its sword, it smashed down Kaede to the floor.
The impact from its sword breaks the ground and crumbles. The ground was holed and the battle was taken place underground.
[Error 403.]
[Forbidden.]
“Damage converter sword: Healer!”
Kaede pulls one of her swords and restored her HP completely. On her other hand was the royal white sword.
She leaps straight to the monster's head. The monster intercepted Kaede’s attack with its own horn and kicks her away. It kicks debris of rock to distract Kaede.
Clover looking at the battle was froze up.
While Yuki and Ronie were being healed. Say meanwhile is having trouble with her aim.
The battle of Kaede and the Minotauris monster was too fast she can’t follow it with her naked eyes.
“I’m so ashamed of myself… I can’t do anything in this situation. Everything is all on Kaede.”
Clover muttered.
“What are you talking about? Without you, we are all dead. Your MP is already low and we can’t do anything about it for now. Many players already died in this place. We underestimated the power of this boss monster. If you wanted to blame someone blame those people watching us from above.”
Saya said and locking her aim she fires her magic arrow.
“Winter arrow!”
Hitting the body of the monster its body was eventually covered with ice. After few seconds its body was covered with ice and unable to move.
“Kaede already break its magic resistance… This is the chance right now Kaede.”
Saya shouted from above to Kaede whose on the ground. Kaede immediately changes her swords.
Excalibur on her right and Curse sword on her left.
With the two strongest swords Kaede has she made her final attack.
Both of her swords glow in red and blue colors.
“Furious Destroyer!”
Combo attack. Swings the sword horizontally to deliver 100 powerful slashes. (Once this skill was activated the wielder was invincible and unable to take any damage in exchange the skilled wielder was not able to move for 10 seconds after skill. Cooldown of 20 seconds.)
With the final swing of her sword, the ice frosted monster was slashed into many pieces. Its HP was decreased to zero and its body started to disappear in light particles.
Kaede’s lost her energy and lost her balance. She fell to the ground with the back of her body. Looking on top of her. All she saw was the ray of light common out from the ceiling.
[Congratulation! You defeated the monster!]
A panel of greetings appeared in front of her. But Kaede was not happy seeing it. Or rather she has no energy to celebrate what just happened.
She continues to chase her breath.
