Chapter 14: Kaede and Yuki

Today was the day where the students go into a gymnasium to practice their physical body with physical sports. Kaede and Yuki were currently standing on opposite sides of the table tennis. Chatting while they are playing.
“That was really fun… yesterday.”
“Too bad we didn’t get any unique series type of equipment.”
“According to the game its, a rare drop and only a few monsters in the game has it. Speaking of drops I give it to the smithing store in the starting town. The owner seems to know you and asked about you.”
“I also give her money and materials to make me a new sword. I need a new type of sword that can handle new skills. I like to have many skills as possible. With those skills, I feel like I’m being stronger.”
Kaede said that, but there is more to it. The next event is happening next week and she wanted to participate once again. She wanted to feel the greatness of the limelight once again.
Daydreaming of winning the event once again. Kaede lost herself in reality. The ball then bounces toward her face.
Yuki hurried and apologize.
“Sorry did it hurt? Kaede? Kaede?”
Kaede is not responding… Even the ping pong ball strike her on her face. She still has a grinning face. She’s still in dreamland.
What’s wrong with her? Yuki thought and then get the ping pong ball from the floor and started playing once again.
The teacher then calls the student and they play dodge ball. Kede and Yuki were of course on the same team. The game started smoothly.
Kaede was very energetic and was fired up.
“Don’t worry, Yuki I know evasion I can dodge anything. This small ball is nothing with my skill.”
Her classmate throws the ball on Kaede. Kaede expected her body to react because in the game it always happened because of her passive skill.
But this is reality.
Kaede was hit by the ball toward her head and got knocked out. Yuki hurriedly to run and helped her get up.
“This is unfair! Why someone is dumb was so cute?! After hit by the ball, she is still very cute!”
Yuki yelled and everyone agrees.
Kaede’s first virtual game to play is fantasy world online and sometimes she is having trouble recognizing Virtual reality and real-world apart. The proof is the incident that just happened…
The embarrassing accident is not just happening in the gym. It also happened multiple times that day. Kaede shouting her poison breath. Swing the mop like her sword and shouting her skill when she is dozing off in class.
Even she started acting like a girl with chunibyou(Eighth-grader syndrome). Everyone will still think it’s cute because she is very cute. Chunibyou fits her personality very well.
Kaede didn’t know about it but she has some fans in the school. Afan page of her is also posted online with her pictures on it. Nothing was made too far to be called a crime. Her online fans are very nice and genuine people. One wants to do something horrible to their pure saint.
Meanwhile, in the Fantasy world online forum. Kaede there was a thread made just for Kaede. She also had fans in the game and videos of her highlights in the battle event continuously to awe people online. Players of fantasy world online started to increase very well.
Virtual world and real-world Kaede are always liked by people. But she didn’t know about it for some reason. It’s like god made some barrier for her not to know those kinds of stuff.
Yuki was aware of hose fans and people that like her, but she just made a sigh and in her mind.
“I won’t let those apes take my Kaede. I’m the one who's gonna marry Kaede in the future.”
Yuki muttered to herself while looking at the screen of her smartphone displaying Kaede’s fan page.
Without Kaede knowing Yuki has a collection of pictures of her and sets her a wallpaper. It's very creepy and Yuki wanted to hide it from Kaede for now.
Yuki currently in the restroom and drooling looking at Kaede’s swimsuit photo with some weird old man smile.
“Kaede so cute… Marry me… Marry me… Marry me…”
Other girl students hearing Yuki’s mutter give off a terrifying aura that made them all frighten.
“Looks like someone is making some sort of curse.”
“Don’t get involve.”
The other girl runs away. Yuki goes out of the restroom and back to her class. Another boring day of the class ended. Yuki and Kaede’s home was in different directions and they always got separated after school.
That loneliness they both felt in their heart upon separating will be immediately healed.
They are both in rush and do their home choices immediately. After that, they both lay down on their bed and then turned on the hardware.

Logging in they both transferred to the magical world of fantasy world online.
They both reunited in the same starting town. Partly the starting town is the only town on the first floor. The game has a different floor and the floor that’s been explored so far was sonly on the fifth floor.
There is no way of knowing how tall the floor will be because it’s always up to the developers. Given that this game is a VRMMORPG expanding and adding a new location is one way to avoid overcrowding on the game.
“What are we going today Yuki?”
“Well, I didn’t have any goal… Grinding became boring if I’m doing it too much. I should relax for a while.”
“Then, let’s look in the bulletin board.”
Kaede drags Yuki to the bulletin board and looks about. The adventurers bulleting also have the interesting in the game. It has requests, quests, and other stuff. In this bulletin the basic skills and some advance skill are posted an dhow to obtained them. Kaede was very excited looking at it. She wanted a new skill that will make her sword more powerful. Yuki meanwhile did enjoy being with Kaede but she is the type of person that can control herself in front of the person she likes. That’s why they are very close together.
Yuki might be the perfect type of person for Kaede. But the idea is not really going toward Yuki’s head.
Moving on the girls decided to wander around the town instead. They then visit a famous restaurant called elf house.
Entering the restaurant they immediately chose a seat. The waitress then greets both of them. In front of them is a very cute girl and in her name tag, her name was Maple.
“Kaede means Maple In English. I saw that in the Maple syrup I bought in the other days.”
“So my name is from the sweet syrup. My mother didn’t do her best to chose a great name for me.”
“Don’t say that Kaede is a very cute name. My name means snow. Maybe it’s ice-cold when I was born.”
“It really fits you because you're skin was so fair and white. I heard rumors that a boy is liking you in the classroom next to us.”
“Let's not talk about that… I’m not in the slightest interested in that kind of stuff… Moving on, I still can’t believe that this game can implement the five senses of humans. Because of that, we can eat as much as we like in this game without being worried about being fat.”
The two girls got carried away and the waitress waiting on their order started to look cold standing awkwardly.
She the clear her throat.
“Ahem… Can I have your orders?”
Hearing that, Yuki and Kaede apologize immediately.
Tasting the food in the restaurant. They are both satisfied. With the food they eat and not being able to feel full because they are inside the game, both girls are very happy.
Kaede and Yuki spend a lot of gold in that restaurant.
