She lifted her head taking a glance at the blue sky and stretches her arms upwards.
“Same goes for me. If I hadn’t met Kaede and Yuki before… This is impossible. I’m just a timid player that can’t do any fighting.”
Said Clover and turned her glance to Kaede and Yuki. Yuki made a brief grin in reply. Kaede then continue to comfort Ronie that was suffering from her anxiety.
“I’m going to be okay… I’m with master after all. I won’t let myself be a burden for master.”
“I won’t think anything like that… I would like for everyone to know that we're just going to do it for the fun. Don’t let eh pressure goes on our head. This is just a game after all. I believe all games are meant to be enjoyed.”
“Kaede is correct… No blaming… Let’s keep enjoying.”
Yuki clenched her fist and punch the sky with cheerful energy. Everyone saw her energy and it infected everyone. They turned glanced at each other and punch through the sky.

They all said at the same time.
Without further ado. The summer cup semi-finals started. Three rounds and one battlefield. Each round will have two teams battling each other in the classic team fights. The first team that defeats all the opponent members will become the winner. Item used or equipment change is not allowed. Cheating is forbidden being caught will mean for entire guild accounts to be banned in the whole game.
Everyone pretty much knows the rules already but being reminded every time is essential.

The bracket system appeared. The Guild named appeared next to the team their fighting.
Summer cup Semifinals:
1. Demon king guild vs Special combatant force guild
2. Stellarknight guild vs Witchcraft Guild
3. Springan guild vs Fuyuno guild
Kaede’s team already knows whose they fighting and come prepared. They are thinking that the other team did the same way. Suing their aggressive style of fighting might not work in extremely agile opponents like Yua and Himari. In the last battle island event. They used their agility to use their Hit and Run tactics.
“For the first round Demon king guild versus special combatant force Guild… All players set in!”
The moment Alice said those words. The players in the guild called was immediately covered by white light. The normal effect for teleport skill. The players are teleported to the battlefield.
Unexpected happened to each team. Because Each member didn’t appear in the same location. The players appeared in random areas in the battle area.
Battlefield map District 4. It's all of the board streets and they’re lined with huge buildings. The map itself was small but has tall buildings, its vertical expansive map. The building was open with wide spaces within.
Some players appeared on the random floors of the mall. Others are outside. Yua and Himari both appeared on the rooftop of the mall. Assault appeared underground floor B1. Setsuna was on the mall 2nd floor. Rito meanwhile was outside in the crossroad area.
Clover appeared in department store 2nd floor. Ronie and Saya in Cinema. Yuki appeared inside the restaurant beside the mall's main building. Lastly, Kaede appeared on the 3rd floor facing in front of Assault.
“The semi-finals are unlike the normal round where each player is dropped in the opposite end of the map. It's a random drop.”
Yuki muttered. She immediately opened the team chats to communicate with Kaede. But…
Kaede alraedy got her hands full.
Just the moment Assault and Kaede meets the eyes of each other. The assault goes in a bloodlust mode and draws her laser photon sword. She leaped on the escalator and run hastily to Kaede.
'Sword Demon!" Assault called.
In terms of speed, there is doubt that Assault has the advantage. She appeared immediately on Kaede’s front and slashed her laser sword.
Sparks came flying as Kaede intercepted her sword with her royal white sword. After taking the hit, Kaede pushed her sword forward. Her STR is higher and with a little push Assault posture will crumble.
Realizing, Assault drew a grenade on her waist. She flings it to Kaede and moves out.
“Boom...”
A huge blaze from the grenade emerges in front of Kaede. The Force from the explosion was enough to make the whole building vibrate. Resulting for everyone that the combat already has begun.
Yuki heard the explosion from Kaede’s voice chat and get herself hurried. Getting out of the restaurant.

She turned her glance to the bullet source and saw Rito far war from her. Rito crouching down with his marksman rifle Mini14. (The Mini-14 is a classic. It's reliable, customized, highly accurate. Its lightweight design made it easy to carry and use.)

Rito shot another one but this time it was deflected by Yuki’s dagger.
Knowing that the distance was too far and her feet were wounded. Fighting Rito, for now, is a risk. Therefore…

Yuki made herself invisible and take an escaped.
An indivisibility skill? I heard a rumor about it but that skill was said to be hard to obtain. Yuki changes very much from the last battle… her adaptability and thirst for improvement are admirable…

Rito stoop up and used and threw a hook. Toward the second floor of the mall. He pulled himself quickly and enter the mall. He then covers himself with his black robe called Budworm. Budworm is a black robe that cancels any detection skills. With his preparation done he runs searching for enemies.
Kaede meanwhile survives the explosion with her sturdy body. Her hp goes to 1. Within the smoke created with the explosion, she hide from the thick pillar.
While hiding she activated her Graceful charity skill. The skill made her exchange MP to become HP. Because of this Skill, she recovers her Hp back to normal. This tactic was useful, but simply recovering her Hp doesn’t mean Kaede is safe.
Assault was no i***t.
She drew her machine gun rifle from her back and started blasting bullets to the smoked area. She knows that Kaede is just there hiding. She now decided to distance herself because one direct hit from Kaede’s extremely high damage attack will surely make her in red.
“Come out already! Come out! Come out!”

“Yeah, it is… Kaede was stuck hiding in that pillar.”
“I heard normal bullets can be replenished by using MP. Is that true?”
“Yeah, it was true. I was a gunner myself so I can confirm it. 1 Mp is equal to 10 normal bullets… Special bullets like elemental bullets will need 20 MP per 5 shots. Meanwhile, other bullet skills have their catch. If Assault has 12,000 Mp on her she can throw endless like normal bullets to Kaede.”
“Kaede already used her Sturdy body.”
“No… Look Kaede’s Hp is gradually increasing.”
“That’s right, But her Mp is decreasing… If she has a skill that exchanges her Mp with Hp. She can survive another attack and activate her sturdy body again. But in exchange, she can’t use most of her skill because it requires Mp.”
"Seems like their strategy was ruined because of the random drop. It was a surprise addition in the semi-finals. Looked like everyone is surprised too."

The one talking was the player named Merak. He is the spear user that trapped Kaede using his lightning spear prison. Still after being stuck Kaede manages to escape. After their fight, Merak acknowledge Kaede’s skills and respected her. Now the bandits Jix lead are turned into a new leaf and retired being bad guys.
He smiled and said:
“I know she will escape because… She already defeated me.”
