Chapter 18: The hunting event starts

All the players that want to participate in the event were transported on a special map. A huge map consisting of many different dungeon bosses and terrains.
The two girls Kaede and Yuki was transported to a rocky mountain area. Before the event started each player was given a map that pinpoints all the dungeons to capture. Each monster was divided into different points. The normal monster was 10 points. High-level monsters were 100 points and dungeon boss monster was 1000 points. Players who give the most points will be the winner of the event.
“I’m sorry Yuki I can’t move faster than this.”
Kaede apologetically said to Yuki. Yuki just made a sigh and look around the area.
“Don’t worry about it it’s not that important. The speed of this event was different from the game's normal speed. We’re currently moving is super high speed. Three days in this event is just 2 hours in the real world. We have too much time to think about things.”
“But I’m not moving as fast as you.”
“That’s normal because I’m an agility type player… compare to normal agility type my speed is faster. For now, I’ll be walking at my normal walking speed.”
Kaede’s speed was par with her normal walking speed in real life. It’s not that fast but it’s decent. The only thing that makes her movement slower was her equipment.
Currently, Kaede is wearing her new equipment. A new set of white armor with black highlights. On her back were two swords her moon piercer sword and Royal great sword. Looking at Kaede she definitely looks twin sword. Her Royal great sword doesn’t have its skill slots filled yet and Kaede is still thinking about it.
She equipped it to test its damage power. Its durability and attack power is greater than Moon piercer. The sword also has an ability that heals it’s used every single attack by 2% of HP.
Yuki also has her new set of armor. She looks like an assassin with a black assassin set. She also has two obsidian daggers equipped on her. Detecting her in dark places will be impossible.
“I just remember something Kaede…”
Yuki opened her inventory and take out a pair of shoes.
“... This is a drop I got from my grinding in the other day while grinding. It’s not that rare but it give decent vitality and agility. It will make your move a bit faster.”
Delighted on Yuki’s gift Kaede excitedly equipped it on.
“I don’t have anything in my inventory because I always sell them immediately, But maybe I can give you his special pie.”
“Pie?”
“It’s a pie sold in that restaurant… Elf house. Looking at its details I found out that it can instantly heal status effects and heals 50% of health in instant. I buy a ton of them. Another variety heals MP instead.”
“I didn’t think that the food in that restaurant can be placed in the inventory. I saw this feature before. I feel like Kaede just accidentally find out rare items.”
Kaede put her hands on her cheeks and giggled. She seems very fluttered to Yuki’s complement.
The time limit in the event was three days I game time(Event only). In that time limit, Kaede and Yuki should slay monsters. A leader board will always show up on the menu while the event was ongoing.
Normal mountain monsters like angry boars and rock wolves appeared in front of Kaede and Yuki. They put their hands on their weapon and engage in the battle. With their current skills engaging with the normal monsters was just an easy feat. It didn’t even make things interesting for Yuki.
“We gained 50 points on that.”
“Looks like players that formed a party share their points. Having a party is the best way to win this event. I read the event description yesterday and find out about the special rule. When a party member dies. The other member can revive its party mates.”
Yuki put her hands on her chin thinking deeply about the event rules.
“Then, engaging a fight with a huge party will be difficult.”
Kaede said.
That’s true, that means, for now, we should avoid conflict as much as possible. There is a rumor that a top player joins this event. We should be extra careful in the path we’re going to take. Yuki thinks about it.
In conclusion, she got irritated and give up on it.
“What should we do if that happened?!”
“Then, let’s just crush them… We’re the invincible you after all. With our strength let's crush them all.”
Kaede said and make a gleaming grin that put an ease on Yuki’s heart.
With that said, Yuki drags Kaede to the near lake area.
Using Yuki’s Fishing skill she was able to fish monsters and landing hits on the fish monster was made by Kaede. With this strategy their steadily climbing the ladder.
“That’s a great strategy you got their little girls…”
A player that seems to be a sword user like Kaede appeared. Kaede and Yuki immediately put their guard up and turn their body each of they back.
There are about ten players at the unknown man's party. They seem to have a healer, magic-user, thief, tank, and sword user.
“It’s a complete party.”
“We’re surrounding the two of you already. There is no way you can stand against us. With your strategy, I know that you already accumulated a huge number of points. Now is the time to take them away.”
“That’s unfair… Yuki and I made hardship gaining these points. How could you steal other people's points with a big grin on your face.”
Kaede said with high spirit.
The unknown player cracks a laugh upon hearing Kaede.
“That’s funny… How interesting… This is a game. Player killing is a part of this excitement.”
He said and chargest toward Yuki. The other players also did the same and attack in different directions.

“Estimate us!” 2x
Kaede and Yuki shouted and using their blades they cut the players in half in instant. Kaede uses her royal great sword and to cut the body of the player. After defeating them their points were transferred toward Kaede and Yuki.
Yuki looks disappointed in what she saw.
“They just have 100 points its not that much for a party of ten players… Looking in the current leader board. The one in the top named Amber already has 5,340 points.”
“That’s insane… We still have 530 points.”
“We better hurry up and find a dungeon to defeat.”
To amke theit traveling faster. Kaede released her equipment once again and ride Yuki’s back.
“I started to feel like a transportation device for you.”
“Don’t mind it… This is fun.”
“Well, I don’t have many choices after all.”
Yuki sprinted with her full speed toward a dungeon.
While they are sprinting from her side a bullet suddenly fires through Kaede’s body. The bullet power was too strong it made Kaede fall from Yuki's back.
Kaede’s HP was put into 1.
“Thank my skill Sturdy body. I was able to survive.”
Kaede immediately gets one Pie to replenish her HP. She then hides behind a huge piece of rock.
Another striking bullet was fired. The bullet was able to carve the rock with one attack.
It put a grim expression on Yuki and Kaede.
“Just what is with that bullet. My speed is very high. To be able to strike me while moving. I feel a bit terrified. This game is in a league of its own.”
In the far distance the player with a sniper rifle steadily aiming for Kaede and Yuki.
“The sword demon lord’s head will be mine…”
She muttered and reload her sniper.
“... Hunting will start.”
