Chapter 19: Chasing bullet

“I wanted to show off this skill to you as our last resort, but this time is special I have no other choice,”
Kaede muttered and then chant the skill.
“Smokescreen!”
A dense amount of black smoke was released from Kaede’s body. The smoke spreads and covers the sniper's vision.
“Blocking my vision to escape my bullets… An ordinary sniper will give up in this situation. Thank goodness that I’m not ordinary…”
The sniper player said and stood up from her hiding spot. Using a skill called “Hopper” she was able to plate a platform that can make her jumper higher than normal.
The sniper player hops on it. In few seconds she was then blasted toward the sky.
Making a wide field of vision she look thoroughly around the area where she last shot Kaede. Turning her head around she saw Yuki with Kaede on her back running away at high speed.
“... Rabbits are not getting away.”
After securing Kaede’s location, she lifted her sniper and targeted Kaede’s head this time.
Kaede noticed the gleam of light coming from the sniper lens. She immediately warned Yuki.
“Yuki the sniper is chasing us!”
“Let's see if she can still chase us after this… Kaede holds tightly. I’m going to go faster.”
Kaede followed Yuki’s instruction and hugs her from behind. Yuki is very happy deep down when Kaede hugs her. But it's not the time for that.
“Extreme speed!”

Using Hopper she hops through the air like she was flying. She then gets a customized bullet from her inventory and reloads it into her sniper rifle.

After pulling the trigger. A spark of lightning comes out from her sniper. The lighting bullet travels in velocity and strikes down Yuki’s feet.
Being hit Kaede and Yuki tripped down and crashed to the ground.
“Yuki! Are you okay?”
“I’m fine… More importantly, this woman is totally serious about us.”
“She is above the sky like she was flying. We both use melee weapons. We can’t reach her.”
“... We have no other choice but to turned our tail… It pissed me off.”
The sniper reloads her sniper once again and fires another bullet. This time Kaede’s knowledge of evasion activated and she miraculously dodges the speeding bullet.
The sniper is even surprised after Kaede dodging it.
Knowledge of Evasion only has 70% of succession. Upon succession, it has 10 seconds cooldown. That means there is no way Kaede can dodge the next bullet coming toward her.
“Lightning bullet!”
Before the lightning speed bullet strikes and puts a hole on Kaede’s head. Yuki leaps and strikes the bullet with her skill.
“Cross blade!”

Yuki stood up and put her palm on Kaede’s head. While at it she rubs it gently.

Yuki said with a crying face. It made Kaede feel embarrassed and blush.

Taking things seriously. Kaede and Yuki replenished their HP and MP. They then made a plan in taking down the sniper.
Turning their heads around Kaede and Yuki saw the sniper still searching for them with her rifle in her hand. In a closer look, the sniper does have a handgun on her waist.
Yuki then opened her menu and look at that map. Ther location appeared as a small circle dot. Surrounding the mountain area was the forest area, River area, and lake where they use to fish earlier.
The other player's points constantly increasing while Kaede and Yuki were stuck in their position. It makes Yuki feels irritated and she bite her thumb finger.
“We can’t waste more time than this…”
Yuki then assembles a plan.

The Sniper is jumping mountain to mountain still putting distance in the ground.
“Did they manage to escape? But I didn’t notice a single presence moving away from this area. It’s weird…”
On the west side of the sniper. Running at high speed with Kaede on her back. Yuki is charging heads on.

The sniper immediately pulled her sniper rifle and targeted Yuki. But before that happened. Yuki fires fire magic from her palm toward the sniper.

She immediately reloaded and shot her second bullet. The bullet missed once again. The distance between The sniper and Yuki is gradually decreasing rapidly.
Being fully aware of that fact. The sniper used her “Hopper” to blast herself up in the sky.
As a sniper player. It's normal to know that she can’t let her opponent got closer to her.
“Kaede go get her!”
Yuki emerges from the black smoke and then she throws Yuki using wind magic. Kaede flies going straight to the sniper. With most of Kaede’s equipment taken off. Her body became lighter at the moment.
“Foolish this will be your end!”
The sniper targeted Kaede’s head and pull the trigger. “Bang” Echoed in the sky. Before it pierced Kaede's head. Kaedeimmediately used a scrap item from her inventory to block the sniper bullet.
It's one of the white scales they got from the underground lake dungeon before. It's also known for its durability. That’s why it's commonly used in forging weapons.
At the last moment, the sniper gets her handgun from her waist. But it's already too late.
Kaede hurried and opened her inventory. She pulled her sword and engages in an attack.
Kaede got in closer on the sniper and using her Royal great sword. She slammed it to the sniper's body, smashing her down to the ground.
“Sword s***h!”
Receiving a direct hit from Kaede's sword. The sniper can’t believe that her Hp bar was taken to zero. Upon falling her body was left dead in the ground.
“The sword demon lord… I never thought that you were this powerful.”
