Chapter 16: Toward the next floor

Kaede, in the land, walked in the pah. Just holding her sword while she is walking. With that her preparation for the monster attack was perfect.

Yuki took the first move and shot magic. But that attack only decreases its health bar by 20%.

While she was saying that, the boar regains its posture and charged again. It was colliding toward Kaede with a lot of momentum.
It was devoured by Kaede’s sword.
“Can I count on you during fights with the boar?”
“Okay!”
Because the path was narrow, the boar charging was suicidal. The boar that doesn’t know about Kaede’s sword jumps in by themselves.
While going through the left and right of the forks, they were slowly moving deeper.

Just like that the monster suddenly fell to the ground. With a huge pit, the bear monster from above Yuki blasted it with her fireball skill. The bear monster was then defeated.
“The test of mist Illusion skill was a success. I think?”
“Mist skill? That was a branch of dark magic. I was surprised that you can use such a thing.”
“This time I tried it as a test, but there was a limit on its use and I want to save it for the boss, that’s why I’’ count on you during the fights for a while!”

Kaede and Yuki once again move deeper to the back. The dungeon looks like I wasn’t that deep, and with only about 10 fights with the monsters, they were able to reach the boss room.
They opened the large door and entered.
A wide room with a high ceiling continues to the back, and in the deepest part, a large tree was standing. After a second after the two entered the room, the door behind them closed with a sound.
The large tree changes its shape and became a giant deer. The horns that the large tree had changed to had a lush of vivid green leaves and bright red apples also are.
After it shook it a body made with trees, it stamped the ground and glared at the two.

“Okay!”
Where the deer was standing, a green-colored magic circle appeared and started shining. It was teh start of teh batlle. When the deer stamp the ground, the magic circle shines, and giant vines appeared piercing from the ground and attack Kaede and Yuki.
Kaede doesn’t have enough speed to dodge u instead she uses her sword to cut the vines that are coming for her. Yuki leaps and avoided the vines. Yuki, with her impressive dodging skills, evades the attacking barrage of vines easily.
The main damage dear was Kaede’s moon piercer. AKede as if she to counter, Swing her sword and attack the feet of the giant deer monster. She planned to use her bizarre eater to devour the giant deer. But that was naive thinking on her part.
The giant deer was simply too big to be devoured by her sword. The deer stomps the location where Kaede was.
“Kaede!”
Yuki with her extreme speed saved Kaede before she was squashed by the giant deer stomp.
Looking at its HP bar Kaede notices that the deer monster took damage from her sword even though she made a direct hit on it.
“What’s happening? My STR was in high and my sword made a critical hit on its foot.”
“Probably, it’s that magic circle! The damage won’t get through!”
The deer once again stretches its vines and attacks. The silver lining was that itself was no problem for the two. The two endured like that for a while, but Yuki who thought it ad no needs suggested.
“I’ll go inspect for a bit… Can you lure the monster for a while?”
Kaede nodded on Yuki and activated her skill “Provoke”. The destination of the vines clearly changes to Kaede. In that chance, Yuki went to do tests.
After attacking it continuously with magic and making its wall appear, Yuki finally notices something.
“Damage goes through its horns! Also, it looks like the wall was supported by the apples!”
“Yuki pointed at the shining apples within the tree leaves when the wall was activated the apples were clearly shining red.
“Then.. leave it to me! I will make them blow away altogether!”
“I’m counting on you!”
Kaede thrust her moon piercer. The sword released the poison smog. The points melted the green leaves on the giant deer's head.
“Wind cutter!”
This time without being blocked by the wall, the attack reached the deer properly. The red damage effects appeared.

“I’m going with a huge one!”
Kaede giving her all raised her sword and s***h down the giant deer monster. After the first sword s***h, Kaede takes the opportunity and uses another one until the magic counter on her sword was gone. It was 12 slashes in total. Considering her high damage input and damage dealt by Yuki. The body of the giant deer monster collapses to the ground. Its HP bar reaches zero.
At the time Kaede and Yuki thought they already defeated the monster. Its body rises again and its zero Hp bar recovered to 20%. The green magic circle that the deer was standing noticeably shone brighter and healed its wounds. As if it was done with its work., the magic circle faded and disappeared.
“That one earlier can you do it again?!”
“I can still do it using my own MP. I can swallow the attack deliver to us and covered it as my MP. But it will take for a while!”
While consulting, there was no way the deer would wait for them, and the deer hat changes its movement pattern attacked with blades of winds and vines that got size bigger.

Kaede was hit and taken damage making her Hp reached one. It’s all thank you to her sturdy body that made her endure high damage hits. But when she was hit by another attack it will be the end for her. Before that happened she gets a health potion and drinks it to replenish her health.

Yuki held daggers with both of her hands and run hastily. Regardless of her words, her expression was very happy.

But anyway, the two were able to get the right to move to the second floor of the game.
