16. Their Moments

Anjali......

In morning when I woke up I didn't find him beside me.

And i didn't feeling any pain in my wrist where he held tightly.

But I clearly remember I didn't apply any spray or any tube so how can it's get well this soon.

I shrug and take a bath and wear a light pink saree. I did my usual light makeup. After that I went downstairs and see mom and dad sitting in lounge area and chatting.

"Good Morning mom and dad." I said and touch their feet and they replied in unison and also said me to not touch their feet.

Today dad looking well comparing other days.

I went in kitchen and prepare breakfast for all of them. Of course cook also help me with some work.

I set table and called them.

"Anjali you also sit with us beta (child)." Mom said to me after sitting

"No mom, I'll eat with Rohan." I said

"Oh! I forget to tell you. He went office early today saying that he have some important meeting." Mom said

"He could even wake up me." I muttered but mom heard and said

"You are sleeping and he didn't want to wake you up, that why he told me because I am waked early today." Mom said and i said okay and sit with them.

We have our breakfast with chanting random things.

After breakfast we talk sometime and after some time dad went to his room because he is feeling unwell.

I help him and did some test.

Everything is looking normal to me but I can't risk so I take some blood and place it in a sample packet and decided to send this sample to lab.

I come out where mom sitting. She looked at me and ask.

"Mom everything is okay. But to surety I take blood and i will send it to lab." I said to mom and sit beside her.

Mom place her head on my shoulder.

After some time I feel mom sleeping.

I shake her a bit and said her to sleep in her room. I take her to her room where is dad.

I check that she lay there and sleep.

Dad is also fell asleep.

I come to taking the blood sample and I went to where is laboratory in Mumbai. I talk to there laboratory in charge and told him about me.

They take it and said in next three days there report will come.

I come home with a taxi and went to my room.

It is lunch time so I said cook to prepared today lunch and told him what to prepare.

I went directly washroom because today weather is hot and i get all sweaty.

I take a towel only because Rohan is not here and he will be also in his meeting.

I take shower and come out in towel.

I got shocked seeing him laying on bed.

I take breath because his eyes is close.

I quickly went to closet and close the door and lean down taking a deep breath.

"Oh! God How will he come home this early." I murmur to myself.

I quickly wear a cotton suit with peach colour and come out.

I see him still closing his eyes.

I comb my hair and do my usual stuff and went to kitchen.

All food is going to ready. So I decide make Kheer in desert.

I quickly take out all ingredients. And place a pan in burner and some rise and milk.

In mean time I prepare all the dry fruit in small pieces.

After it make I placed all food on table and went to call mom dad.

They are ready to come. I then we to my room.

I see him massaging his forehead still closed eyes.

Firstly I went downstairs And tell mom dad that I'll have lunch after. To my surprise they didn't asked why?

I come to my room. Taking balm from cupboard I went near him and set aside.

I pull away his hand from his forehead and start to apply balm on it.

He open his eyes and look at me.

"What are you doing." He asked still looking at me.

"Just close your eyes it will reduce your pain." I said to him massaging his head. His eyes are looking red.

He close his eyes without saying anything.

I continued my work and with other hand I start running my hand his hair.

I see calmness on his face and continuing.

After almost half an hour. I feel him sleeping.

I to got tired so without thinking anything I laid beside him.

I didn't feel like eating so drift into sleep.

Rohan......

In evening we had our dinner in silence. But there a smile on my lips when I look at her.

I am laying on my bed when she come out after changing and lay down on her side.

I decide to tease her a little so I suddenly went to her side like I am hovering over her. I stretch my hand taking my phone when is before in my hand but to scared her.

I look at when she horrified with my little gesture.

"Say who I am ready." I mumbled but she hearing it maybe.

She asked me what so I related nothing and laid down on my side.

After some time she drift into sleep.

Making sure she is sleeping I got up and brought some pain relief.

And apply on it her wrist.

I look at it and guilt come rushing to me.

It's just being three days for our wedding and i hurts you very much.

I don't know what have you done to me that I am feeling all this.

I caress her wrist and placed a kiss there.

And after it sleep consume me.

In 5'o clock my phone ring. I pick it up and heard my manager voice.

I groan hearing this and stood up.

There is a meeting and want some preparation for it.

How can I forget this.

I quickly got ready and look at her sleeping figure.

I went downstairs and i show mom. Telling her that there I some work I drove towards my office.

It's early so no here except my manager and some other people who is working on it.

I went in my office and set in. Firstly I ordered my manager to bring a coffee and he did after some time just as I like.

After finishing it I dig myself in the file who is most important now.

At 11 pm meeting held and it's went well.

It's quickly got over. So I decide to have lunch at home.

My head paining a little. I reached home but didn't see anyone there. I went to my room and see also she is not here.

Then I heard water running so I take out my cot and open two upper button of my shirt and laid on bed. I closed my eyes. The headache is killing me.

But don't know when I slept for a little.

I groan at when the headache got worse. I start to massage my temple. After some time I feel someone pulling my hand from there and start to apply something and also rubbing there lightly.

Open my eyes and she her.

I asked her that what are she doing.

And she just said me to closed my eyes.

To my surprise I did.

After that I feel her hand running in my hair.

I feel relaxed and don't know when drifted in to sleep.
