Once the guys got here and dealt with the trash, I was able to get the closing stuff done. Mom and Dad had followed the guys, so Mom helped me. We got the register cashed out and entered the money into the computer. And the deposit for the next day done.
When that was done, we straightened up the shelves and swept the floor. And did all of the other little things that we do at closing. When we were done, I had everyone go out the front so that I could shut and lock the door and then pull the grate down. Midnight stayed inside with me. He didn't want me going out the back by myself.
