After we had our club meeting, I had to head into the clinic for a few hours. Dylan called and said that he needed a few hours off this afternoon and asked me to cover for him. Since they have all been covering my shifts since Midnight got hurt, I agreed to it.
I knew that Midnight and Sunshine would both be looked after with them at the club. My mom was a nurse once upon a time. So she knew how to take care of them. And I knew that she would make sure that they listened to what she had to say.
So once the meeting was over, I went to our room here at the club and packed a couple of sets of scrubs and my tennis shoes into a book bag. After making sure that I had everything that I needed, I headed back out to the main room. I went over to the couch that Sunshine and Midnight were
