Chapter 3
Aira’s POV
As the eldest among the five of us, it is my duty to wake them.
I prepared the ceramic basin and spatula and opened their doors and started hitting the basin with the spatula.
Tingnan natin kung di kayo magising dahil dito.
*CLANK *CLANK
*TING *TING
“AIRA!” they all grunted and came out of their rooms.
“Aira naman, it’s just 4:30 for goodness sake.” Reklamo ni Jade.
Reklamadora talaga kahit kailan
“Well for your information, Ms. Serano, Ms. Jacinto and Ms. Horan, 7:30 po ang pasok natin at hindi pa natin alam ang room natin.” I told them and we went downstairs

“Are you damn serious?” Lana exclaimed
Well I can’t blame her. Ganyan din ang reaction ko when our parents texted me about it
“Sadly. Yes.” I answered
“Idinamay pa nila si Mia.” Jade said and I nodded
“Well if Icelle’s brother’s involve malamang ininvolve rin niya si ate Mia.” Rainiellaine said and we nodded
“Under.” We said and shook our heads
“Let’s go.” I said and we went to the dining room
We ate in silence then went to our rooms to get ready for school.
We rode the White Mini Van and I started driving to our new school.
Buti nalang kasama ng requirements namin yung mapa.
We were all silent but we can hear Rainiellaine humming. Just like what she always do.
“Rainiellaine.” I called her
“Hmm?” she asked
“Sing, please.” I told her
“mmkay.”” She answered and removed her earphones
She connected her phone to the bluetooth speaker and she played a song.
“Do you remember feeling invincible?
When there was trouble it was us against the world
We kept running, running through the night
Chasing the sun 'til anything felt right
Can you save me now?
I get lost up in the clouds
Can you save me now?
You were my gravity
Can you save me now?
When the ground drops out I get lost in the clouds
Save me now
You were my gravity
Now my world is shattering
Ooooh, you were my gravity
Ooooh, you were my gravity
You left me out there with no one but myself
In an open field for the lightning to strike me down
I was the moon, you were the sun
I can't seem to shine now that you're gone
Now I'm out of orbit cause you left without warning
Are you somewhere better now?
Can you save me now?
I get lost up in the clouds
Can you save me now?
You were my gravity.” She sang
“You’re still good in singing.” I commented
“Of course, Dawn and Dusk kept telling me to sing.” She said and we all laughed
“Their names are cute.” Lana commented
“Yeah. Mia said so too.” She agreed then I parked the car
*sigh here we go again
It’s our first day and everyone kept on looking at us with disgust.
‘Eeew bunch of nerds.’
‘Kadiri.’
‘Baka mahawa nila tayo.’
‘Social climbers.’
‘Fame wh*re.’
Insecure bitches.
We kept on walking towards our first class.
I knocked then we entered the room.
“Kayo ba yung mga transfer students?” The teacher asked us
“No we’ll be replacing you.” Lana and Jade whispered
We nudged them
Wala nga dapat gagawa ng g**o. They’re so hard headed.
“Opo.” I answered trying my best to be in the most polite manner.
“Introduce yourselves infront.” She said so We all walked in front.
“Hello! My name is Aira Pearl Antonio, 24 years old.” I introduced
“I’m Emerald Lana Jacinto and I’m 23 years old.” Lana introduced
“Hey! I’m Aquata Jade Horan. 23 years old.” Jade intoduced
“Diamond Icelle Serano. 23.” Icelle Introduced herself in her cold tone
“*ehem Hello! My name is Amber Rainiellaine Lopez, I’m 21 years old and I hope we’ll all be friends.” Rainiellaine used her usual line
“Ms. Antonio, you may sit beside Mr. Lee.”
“Ms. Jacinto, besside Mr. Hye, Ms. Horan beside Mr. Lim, Ms. Serano, beside Mr. Park and Ms. Lopez beside Mr. Hamilton.” The proffesor said
“So this is Calculus, so can one of you define what Calculus is?” he asked
Rainiellaine raised her hand and he called her
“Calculus is an advanced branch of mathematics that deals mostly with rates of change and with finding lengths, areas, and volumes.” She answered
“Very good. When was the first use of the term calculus?” he asked and Icelle raised her hand
“Serano.” He callled
“1666.” Icelle answered
Then he started discussing the lesson for the first day.
Well it’s amusing to see them, especially Jade and Lana interested.
He dismissed the class 5 minutes earlier than the bell. So we went to our next class.
“Good Morning Class!” Ms Cynthia said when she entered the classroom.
“So I heard we have transfer students. Introduce yourselves please.” She said so we stood Up and Introduced like how we introduced earlier minus the age.
“So because you are transfer students I will ask you a very easy question regarding our subject. What is Economics?” She said
“A noun plural but singular or plural in construction. It is a science concerned with the process or system by which goods and services are produced, sold, and bought.” Rainiellaine answered
She’s lucky to have selective photographic memory.
“It is the part of something that relates to money” Lana answered
“A social science concerned chiefly with description and analysis of the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services.” I answered
“An economic aspect or significance.” Jade answered
“When was the term Economics first used?” Ms. Cynthia asked
“1792.” Icelle answered
Icelle is good in memorizing she has photographic memory.
“You may take your seat.” She said then we sat again
