Chapter 2
Lana’s POV
So what’s up?
We barely even stayed her for a couple of days but Rainiellaine already found someone.
“Jade!” We all grunted at her when she jumped on the living room.
“Ano? It’s not like I did something diabolical.” She reasoned
I raised my eyebrow on her and went to my room and changed into my black sports b*a and black leggings. I wore my black converse shoes and took my duffel bag and went out.
“Saan will you go?” Jade asked me
“Gym.” I replied
“We’ll come. Just hintay us.” She said and they went upstairs. I saw a figure laying and covered in blankets in the sofa.
The sleepyhead of the group.
“Icelle..” I said and patted her
“Hmm?” she asked not bothering to remove the sheets covering her
“We’re going to the gym. Are you coming?” I asked her
“I’ll follow.” She said then I saw the girls walking downstairs.
When they got here I stood up and we went to the garage and rode the mini van.
“Si Icelle?” Aira asked
“”She’ll follow.” I answered
“Wait. Paano?” Jade asked and we all face palmed
There’s only one vehicle. How will she follow us.
We heard the opening and closing of the door from behind and we saw Icell sitting there with her headset.
“Just Drive.” She said so Aira started the car and we went to the gym outside the subdivision
When we got there, we went in aligned.
“Girls, let’s meet here at 8AM. SHARP.” Icelle said and went ahead of us.
I checked the time on my phone.
It’s 6:40 am.
We went in and I first rode the treadmill in maximum speed. After 30 minutes of running I went to the weights and carried the bell for 30 counts after that I did 25 sit ups, 20 curl ups, 35, push ups then. 1 looked at the time 7:45AM.
15 minutes left.
I was surprised when I bumped into someone.
“Ow sorry.” I said
“It’s fine. Wait your the girl from the mall.” He said then I recognized him
He’s the guy with the guy who helped Rainiellaine.
“I’m Emerald.” I said and offered a handshake
“Elijah.” He said ad shook my hand
“Nice meeting you, Elijah.” I said
“Same with you, Emerald.” He said and I smiled and took my hand
“So you’re always here?” He asked
“No. It’s our first time.” I said then I saw the girls going out
I checked the time on my phone. 7:55 AM
“I’m sorry but I have to go.” I said
“Where are you going?” He asked
“Well they’re waiting for me already.” I said
“Nice meeting you again, Elijah.” I said and ran after my friends
When I came to the van. I checked the time.
UH Oh
8AM.
“You’re 7 seconds late, Lana.” Icelle said
“Sorry.” I said and sat beside Jade
“We saw you.” Rainiellaine said
“I bumped into someone.” I said while Aira’s driving
“Who?” Icelle asked
“Elijah.” I answered
We stopped at a fastfood chain and got out of the van.
Jade ordered the food with Rainiellaine, while the three of us look for seats.
“Emerald!” my forehead knotted when somebody called my second name.
“It’s the guy earlier.” Aira whispered
I looked at the direction of the voice and I saw him with four more guys.
“Elijah.” I acknowledged him
He walked towards me with one of the guys.
“Hi! Emerald, right?” The other guy said so I nodded
“I’m James, he’s gan- I mean friend.” He introduced to me
“Are you looking for a seat? You can share with us.” Elijah offered
“Actually we are.” Aira said after Icelle nudged me
“Would it be alright?” She asked them
“Uh sure. They won’t mind.” James said
We went to their table and we placed our purses on the chair then we sat down.
“Do you speak Tagalog? Filipino I mean.” The other guy asked
“Yup.” We answered (Except Icelle who’s currently wearing her headset)
“Hi! Ako si Pearl and this is Dia. Tahimik talaga siya.” Pearl said then I saw the two boys stood up
“Thank you.” Rainiellaine said and sat beside me opposite to the guy she met at the mall.
“Ako naman si Blake.These are Rain and Zach, probably kilala niyo na sina T- James at si Elijah.” He said
“Amber.” Rainiellaine said with her jolly tone and shook hands with everyone
“Jade.” Jade playfully introduced
“Nice meeting you.” Blake said and we started eating
“So how long have you been staying here?” Elijah asked us
“A couple of days.” I answered
“Are you planning to stay here, or study?” James asked us
“Yes.” Aira answered
I nudged Rainiellaine who is just beside me because she’s been staring at the food for long.
“Chto eto?” Icelle asked
She’s beside Rainiellaine. So this is our sitting arrangement:

“Nothing.” She answered and started eating the food
*insert call tone
“Excuse me.” Rainiellaine said and answered the call without leaving the table
“Hello”
“Chto eto?”
“Bango.”
“Doshite?”
“Aishiteru. Sayonara.” She said and I saw her hide her phone
“Who’s that?” Icelle asked
“Let me guess. Kuya mo.” I said and she nodded and shook her head
“How old are you?” Rain asked
“Well A- Pearl is 24 years old, Dia, Jade and Emerald are 23 and I’m 21.” Rainiellaine answered
“Wow ibig sabihin, halos magkaka age lang tayong apat then magka age lang pala kayo ni Rain, Amber.” James said
After we ate we parted ways but we exchanged numbers, I mean me, Aira and Rainiellaine and Elijah, James and Rain.
“How coincidental. Kapangalan mo pa yung nakabanggaan mo.” Aira teased Rainiellaine
“Coincidence. I guess.” She said and leaned to her seat and like her idol Icelle she wore her earphones.
Well as crazy as it may seem, Amber Rainiellaine Lopez is idolizing the cold as her name Diamond Icelle Serano.
“But why did we use our Gemstone names? I mean nakikipagkaibigan sila sa atin, diba dapat we’re honest?” Jade asked
“Basta.” I answered since I am the first one who used it.
I used it introducing myself with Elijah in the first place.
“Get ready girls.” Icelle said and I sighed
Another country. Another School. SAME experience.
“Tomorrow’s our first Day.” Aira said and we went to our rooms.
I noticed that it was only 6:15 so I decided to make an acrostic of my name.

I believe that the first one to love you is you. You should love yourself before you love someone else. When you love you should leave some for yourself because no one else can.
I went to the bathroom and took a half bath and washed my face. I placed a mask and I took the cucumber placed inside my mini ref and placed it in the plate on my nightstand when I settled to my bed.
I turned off my light after I tucked myself to bed and then I was about to put the cucumber slices on my eyes when my phone vibrated I checked it and I found out that it’s from Elijah.

After I sent it I closed my phone and laid to my bed and placed the cucumber slices on my eyes and slept.
