Chapter Sixty-Three:
We laughed and had fun in Veronica’s room. The conversations in the common room were soon forgotten. We all were having a great time and for the first time since this whole engagement thing I was able to relax and actually smile and laugh. We talked about everything and anything. It was the best time I have had in a long while. When it was time to go down for dinner we all collected our things and bundled up in our jackets and headed down together. We made it all the way to the mess hall with no incidents but sadly my luck ended there. When we arrived there were several things I noticed at once.
