Chapter Eighty:
“Rebecca?” Asked a soft voice a little distance away.
Out of habit I turned and saw someone I never thought I would see again.
“It is you! Oh My God! Jake it is her!”
I stood up as the young female darted towards me and before I knew it she was scooping me up in a bone tight hug.
“Hello Jennifer.” I said softly trying to get her to release me.
Slowly she finally let go but held onto my arms. “Don’t Hello Jennifer me, hello yourself, where the hell have you been? Three years is exactly three years to long! Where is Momma Black?” She asked looking around the table then pausing. “Speaking of which aren’t you guys normally over in California this time of year? I bet you are freezing.”
My family was all watching me with wide eyes they all could tell Jennifer was complete
