Chapter Ninety-Nine:
I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was Tasha’s radiant smile then I looked beyond her to the mirror and my eyes filled with water. The clip was brilliant. It was a combination of black, green, and Gold representing my family colors along with the color that had been added when I married Dustin. I looked at Tasha and she gave me a small smile.
“Where did you get this?” I ask softly, trying to fight back tears.
“I made it. I was going to give it to you when we got back but with everything that happened I almost forgot until this morning.” She kissed my forehead. “Let’s go get something to eat before we are expected in the cathedral.”
