The next morning I got up before anyone else and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for everyone. As I was setting everything out on the table Lily came down with Austin and Allie. Everyone sat at the table and started digging into the pancakes, sausage and eggs I had made. “Have you heard from mom or dad yet, Joey?” I looked over at Lily and shook my head, I am sure they will be in touch sometime this morning but I was hoping you wouldn’t mind hanging out here with the other two. I was going to run in to check on them and see if they want to come home and clean up and get some rest and I can stick around to help grandma if she needs anything.”
