Chapter 5

I rushed over to the Luna offering my arm after getting the Alphas okay and smiled “Ready Luna”
to which she giggled and turned to the adults and said “Link me when you guys are done I’ll bring him back over” The adults nodded their okays so I opened the door and guided the Luna out closing the door behind us
As we walked she asked me “So Elio how old are you?” I smiled at her as we walked through the packs HQ and said “I’m 8 years old”
She smiled and said “Oh so have you started school yet” I nodded and said “I’ve never been to an actual school but I did have a teacher that would come to my house”
She nodded and said “Oh that’s great you’re like me”
I looked at Luna Zari “You never went to school?”
She shook her head and smiled “My papa was my teacher, and I remember the first time I went to a school was when I got into medical school, but lucky for you. You’ll get to go to school with other pups your age next month.”
I looked at her as she guided me through the halls and smiled “Really can they turn into wolves like me too?” the Luna then smiled sweetly
‘Pretty’
‘She is pretty'
“Yeah tho there are other cubs or chicks that can turn into felines, bears, and birds”
I felt Meeros shock and I said “Really Luna? BIRDS!?”
She smiled and nodded and walked towards some double doors with a fuzzy caterpillar painted on them. We stopped and the Luna turned to look at me and asked “Ready” I nodded smiling and she pushed the door open and we walked in
There was a lot of kids in small groups that were all doing different things some painted while others were reading or wrestling and some were inside a playhouse at the corner of the room
There was a sweet smell that caught Meeros attention and I was about to let go of the Lunas hand when a lady that was as tall as the Luna walked up with a smile as she bowed to the Luna and said
“Hello Luna Zari, are you here to check on Roman and Rio” Luna Zari smiled and said
“Yeah where are those two” the lady looked around so I looked at her
she had long jet black hair, tan skin, caramel-colored eyes, rose-colored full lips
There was a scary but comforting feeling about her
‘Scary’
‘Just a little but I think an angry Mama might be scarier’
Meeros shuddered at the thought of Mama getting angry and then the Lady noticed me and smiled pointing to the playhouse
“Your pups are over there Luna and who might this be?”
She smiled at me and I looked at Luna Zari who smiled encouragingly and I turned to the lady “Hi my names Elio Diaz De Rosario” and I offered my hand
Her caramel-colored eyes widened and she smiled
“Oh you’re Gamma De Rosario’s nephew” I nodded and she took my hand giving it a firm shake
“Nice to meet you Elio my name is Zinna De La Rosa and I’m the Delta Female of this pack”
I nodded and she said “why don’t you go play with the Lunas pups and my girls at the playhouse over there” she pointed at the house where Meeros had caught a sweet scent
It smelled like strawberries and daisies
I looked over to see a girl that had amber eyes, Tan skin, dark brown wavy hair and the prettiest smile call out “Mama!”
Then she turned to look at me and Meeros shouted
‘MATE!’
Confused, I watched the girl walk up to me slowly. She was really pretty and I was confused at the urge to be close to her
‘MATE! IT’S MATE ELIO!’
Her eyes locked with mine and I felt my face get red and still confused at what Meeros meant. I glanced at Luna Zari and asked “Luna Zari, what’s a mate?”

“Now please put your hands together for... Enyo De Rosario!”
As the crowd clapped I walked towards Alpha De la Rosa who smiled encouragingly and said “Alright Enyo these 3 will be your opponents” I turned to my right to see 3 people standing next to one another then he gestured to each one
“Now who would you like to take on first these three are my top warriors”
There was 2 men that flashed me cocky smiles and Beta Fane smiled waving at me so I waved back
‘I’m so excited Enyo’
Neymar sounded giddy so I smiled and said
“I really should finish up quickly because Elio and I need to eat soon so Alpha what if I take all 3 on to get this over with”
Alpha De La Rosa's smile widened and he said “Are you sure Enyo?” I nodded and looked at Edan who gave me a nervous smile
‘Be careful Yo-yo Beta Fane is astonishingly fast’
I smirked
‘Just try and remember when we were at Yosemite and I fought off that huge bear?’
He looked like he had forgotten but then nodded and linked
‘Then I have nothing to worry about’
I nodded too and then the Alpha called from a distance
“Alright, Enyo show them what you’ve got!”
The second those words left his mouth they all attacked at once I dodged left and then ducked and the two huge men punched each other
I felt a slight gust and caught Beta Fane's hand as he tried to punch me taking hold of his arm with both hands and swinging him into the two men that were running at me after recovering
They all fell over and the crowd was shouting and cheering
Then they all stood and Beta Fane disappeared once again and the two big dudes came at me and I smiled and ran at the one on my left uppercutting him so hard he flew back and landed on the ground with a loud thud
Then Alpha called out “One”
I smirked and Elbowed the other guy that had ran up behind me in his abdomen and turned giving him a right and then a left hook
Hooking my leg behind his, knocking him down and pouncing on him, knocking him out than catching Beta Fane above me and flipping him over and then pinning him as Alpha De La Rosa Called out “Two! Circo De La Rosa welcome your newest members Enyo and Elio De Rosario”
I felt the connection to the other pack members
‘So this is what it’s like to be in a pack’
The crowd cheered calling out their congratulations verbally and some through pack link
I helped Ramon up
Raising up our hands together and the crowd cheered as I put our hands down and let go he nudged my arm and I turned to him and he smiled “It’s been a while since anyone other than my mate has pinned me”
I felt my face get red as I chuckled which made him laugh too and then I felt Edan pick me up and spun me as he said “You took them all down in 5 minutes Yo-yo that was amazing!”
I laughed hugging his head and then he put me down
“You did amazing Enyo” I turned to the Alpha and smiled as I bowed “Thank you Alpha”
He smiled and said “I haven’t quite found a good candidate to be my general” I stood up straight facing him and he said, “Enyo would you be interested in the position?”
I felt like my eyes were going to fall out of my face and I dumbly stuttered “Who? Me!?”
Alpha De la Rosa only nodded and I looked at Edan who smiled at me and said “Hey the pays great and you only have to attend the most important meetings so you can still run your night clubs”
‘I don't know'
I turned to look at Alpha De La Rosa and asked “Will I have time to be with my son?”
The Alpha gave me a warm smile and said “I promise you will because I value family time so we don’t have meetings on weekends which means you’ll have time to be with Elio and your brothers family”
‘Should I?’
‘Don't be a chicken Enyo Alpha has acknowledged our potential’
‘You think so Neymar?’
‘Enyo he wouldn’t ask if he didn’t see it’
I took a deep breath and said “Then if you’ll have me I’ll accept your offer”
Alpha smiled and said “That's great thank the goddess” he put his hand together in prayer and looked up and then linked
‘Pack I am proud to announce Enyo De Rosario as Circo De La Rosas Official Pack General!’
The people still present all turned to face me and pounded their chest once and they erupted into cheers
I smiled and turned to Edan who looked confused and I noted his eyes had fogged over so I knew he had just gotten a mind link
So I tapped his arm and he jumped as I asked “What's the matter Edan?”
He looked nervous and scratched the back of his neck and his eyes fogged over again, and Alphas did too and I felt my heart drop
“Is Elio okay? Is he hurt? Is he missing!?”
I felt my heart start to pick up when I felt Edan put his hand on my shoulder and he said “Elios fine Yo-yo I was just a little surprised when Luna Zari told me what she did”
My heart still hammered as I asked “What she say?” Edan looked at Alpha De La Rosa who nodded and said “Alright this concludes General De Rosarios matches thank you all for attending and participating. Now everyone is dismissed.” and with that everyone scattered and then Edan and Alpha De La Rosa led me back to Alphas office and they sat me down
‘I'm worried Neymar’
‘I'm sure it's nothing crazy’
“Okay Yo-yo I want you to remember to breathe”
I nodded and then Edan said “Elio just met his mate”
“WHAT!”
