6 Too Early! A New Home

Chapter 6

“Wha-what did you just say to me?” I stuttered and Edan said slowly

“That Elio... just met his... mate”

My eyes nearly popped outta my head when I said

“he’s only 8!”

Then Edan shot back

“Well he did Yo-Yo”

I heaved a deep sigh trying to calm my nerves and before I could even ask Edan said

“Elio and Delta De La Rosas eldest Daughter are mates”

I felt my eyes nearly fall outta my face and I swiveled my head to Alpha De La Rosa and said “Your cousins got kids” he flinched back at cousin and rubbed his neck sighing and said

“How about we go talk to them”

I shot outta my seat and Edan and Alpha did as well and we all walked out of his office

I didn’t wait for them and simply followed Elios scent that was of honey and sage

I walked through the packs HQ on a hunt for my pup

‘How is this even possible Neymar!’

I turned left towards some double doors with a huge fuzzy caterpillar painted on it

‘Merros recognized his mate even if her wolf isn’t present yet’

I nodded but it still bugged me and couldn’t stop myself from whining

‘He hasn’t even hit puberty yet!’

Neymar only chuckled and I pulled open the double doors to revealing a daycare

With a bunch of pups playing around my eyes scanned the room looking for him and then I heard “MAMA”

I looked to my left and felt as Elio hugged my side

I looked down and hugged his head “Hey baby”

I ran a hand through his curls and heard “General De Rosario”

I looked up from Elios cute face to a woman I had never seen before that was a tall as Luna Zari she had long jet black hair, tan skin, caramel-colored eyes, rose colored full lips

Her aura was comforting but there was also something about her that screamed power and authority

I also noticed a little girl that looked to be about Elios age pouting

She had amber eyes, Tan skin, dark brown wavy hair and was holding the woman’s hand

I extended my hand to the woman

“Enyo De Rosario a pleasure I’m Elios mom and Gamma De Rosarios twin sister”

The woman smiled “Hi Enyo my name is Zinna De la Rosa and I’m the Delta female of this pack”

I nodded shaking her hand

And she let go she looked at the little girl

“This here is my daughter, why don’t you introduce yourself” the little girl nodded and looked at me and she took a deep breath and said

“Hello General De Rosario my name is Margarita De la Rosa and I’m also Elios mate”

she looked scared and Zinna looked at me nervously and before I could say anything Elio walked over to her and grabbed her hand and he said “It’s okay Mago my mamas not scary”

She relaxed instantly I couldn’t help but sigh so I just crouched in front of them and took both their hands and said “It’s nice to meet you Margarita”

Mago smiled cutely and said “It’s nice to meet you too”

I stood ruffling their hair and said “Why don’t the two of you go play a while longer while the adults talk”

They both smiled and ran off holding hands

I looked at Zinna who ran a hand through her hair

“I’m not entirely sure how to handle this”

I chuckled and pat her shoulder glancing at the kids as I said “You and I both”

Elio was playing house with his mate and 3 other pups

“I’m not sure I’ve lived long enough to witness this” I glanced at Alpha De la Rosa who had his arms wrapped around Luna Zaris shoulders who nodded in agreement

Then Edan said “Well I don’t think any of us have it’s just unusual that his wolf recognizes his mate even if her wolf is Dormant”

Before I could say anything Neymar cut in

‘I don’t think it’s a problem they are just pups right now’

I sighed

‘I know Neymar but he’s our baby boy’

She chuckled and said

‘I know Enyo I feel cheated knowing that our son already met the love of his life and he hasn’t even learned how to drive yet’

I chuckled and said

‘Well I guess we have no real problem other than them having a pup too early’

Neymar chuckled and said

‘There’s no need to worry Enyo like they said her wolf is still dormant so she probably won’t fully manifest until they are both 16’

‘Yeah and we won’t be able to say anything about that cuz we would only be hypocrites’

Neymar chuckled and all I could do was smile with a sigh as I said

“I guess since we’ve never encountered such an early pairing I think we should leave them be and just accept that fact that we are all pretty much family”

Everyone chuckled and then Zinna said “It’s funny how we panicked we are the adults after all but like you said we just have to accept it, I'm just worried about Xipil”

I turned away from them playing with the toy kitchen set and looked at Zinna who sighed

“No, why should I worry you love?”

I jumped outta my skin and turned around and looked at Delta De la Rosa and I heard Edan laugh and then saw the top of Zinna’s head go past me and she hugged her mate tightly and he bent down giving her a kiss and she said “Why don’t you sit down”

After the most intense range of emotions I’ve ever seen on Delta De La Rosas face he only sighed and said “All I can say is that from what I can tell Elio is a good kid so I have no choice but to leave her in his capable hands when they are at least 16 cause there’s no way we are gonna keep them apart” then tears streamed down his face as he said

“But she’s still our little flower”

Zinna only chuckled and kissed his lips and the His forehead hugging his head as he latched onto her waist sniffling and then I turned and looked at everyone else who looked like they just saw him give birth to a baby moose

And I only smiled and said “Why do you guys look so shocked” the. Then Alpha De La Rosa said

“Because it’s really rare for him to show any kind of emotion on his face so it’s safe to say that this is shocking”

Everyone nodded in agreement and then we heard

“What’s the matter Papa?”

I went from looking at the group to Mago and her parents with Elio right beside her who gasped

“Delta De la Rosas your Papa Mago?” She turned from her Papa to Elio and smiled “Yeah this is my papa”

Then Elio smiled at her too and turned to look at Delta De La Rosa and said “I’m sorry but don’t worry Meeros and I promise to be good boys until we’re all grown up”

Then Zinna smiled and kissed Xipils forehead and said “See my love there is nothing to worry about”

He sighed wiping his eyes and then ruffled Elios curls and said “I’ll hold you to your promise then” Elio grabbed Xipils hand off his head and then gave it a firm shake “It’s a promise”

‘Pups such a good boy’

I chuckled and said “Well now that that’s settled we have to settle in and Elio your father is expecting a phone call”

Elio looked at me shocked like he forgot and nodded and turned to Mago “I’ll see you tomorrow Mago” she nodded and smiled and then before he went anywhere closer to her he turned to the Delta couple and said “If that’s okay with your Mama and Papa”

Mago smiled excitedly and also looked at her Mama and Papa

Then Zinna smiled and Xipil said “Well if your Mamas okay with it maybe we can drop her off while we take care of some work that has been piling up?”

I only nodded and then Mago giggled and hugged Elio and with a bright smile pulled away “I’ll see you tomorrow” she Also looked at me and smiled then Elio let go and said “say bye to your little sister for me” Mago nodded and then Elio walked over to me and said “Okay mama let’s go”

I smiled and said “Well I’ll see you all tomorrow” I bowed respectfully and noticed that Elio did as well and then we turned to Edan who hand done the same and said “Okay now let’s go eat”

I chuckled and we all walked out of the Day care together heading back towards the car garage to get our luggage

Edan took two of my big suitcases, while I carried a backpack and two duffle bags and Elio had on his back pack and a matching suitcase we walked out of the parking garage from a different door that had the the glowing green Exit sign right above it

Elio pushed it open and Edan and I walked out as we walked Edan said “You know Enyo Alpha De la Rosa gave you a house”

Elio and I both stopped in our tracks and turned to look at Edan who only smiled and then reached in his pocket tossing something which I caught before it hit my face and he said “Don’t worry you live right next door”

I opened my palm looking at the house rose shaped house key

‘Isn’t giving us a house too much?’

As I pondered on declining I heard via mid link

‘Sorry General De Rosario under Lunas orders you are to accept the pre furnished house’

I heard Alpha De La Rosa and I knew there was no going back so I linked back

‘ very well Alpha I send my gratitude and my thanks for such generosity’

I vaguely heard his chuckle resonate in my mind as I said with a sigh “Okay Edan lead the way”

He smiled nodding and then I heard Elio say

“We are getting our own house Mama?”

I nodded and then he smiled and said “Oh that’s great although it makes me a little sad we aren’t going to live with Uncle Edan , Tía Sol and Luzia”

I giggled and ruffled his hair and Edan smiled waving to the neighboring pack members that shouted their congratulations and welcome to the pack and said “It’s okay Elio we live right next door and I’m sure Luzia will be happy to play with you when ur Mama, Aunt, and I have pack work”

Elios eyes sparkled and then as if he had just remembered something he said “That’s okay cuz Luna told me that I’ll be going to real school with other pups, Cubs, and chicks next month”

I chuckled

‘Chicks?’

Then Edan linked back as I waved at the next neighbors we passed who shouted about how amazing I was during the trials

‘Yeah this is a multi shifter pack who banned together 6 years ago but wasn’t recognized as an official pack up until recently’

‘Is it cuz of our chaotic “nature” due to not being pure?’

‘The council was scared because most shifters are hard to handle but thanks to Memo and his previous Beta and His cousin we became the council’s special forces, mercenaries and assigns’

I turned to look at him wide eyed look and he asked “Is this your first time going to school Elio?” Elio nodded and said “My last teacher used to come to our house on the hacienda (a large landed estate) since we didn’t leave near any schools plus because of Papas job”

Edan nodded and gave the you-better-explain-to-me-what-he-means-by-because-of-papas-job look then said “Well the good thing is that the school is within pack Territory and your mama and I will take turns taking you and Luz to school”

I nodded and gave Edan the fine-I’ll-explain-but-you-better-give-me-the-run-down-on-this-shifter-pack to which he just saluted me earning a confused look from Elio

I turned away from Edan looking around at the vast green of the forest surrounding the pack and noticed that the two houses were a little ways from the others we had passed

As Edan had said they were about 20ft apart with huge front lawns and parking spaces plus garages and I gave Edan a deadpan look and said “Dan, am I to understand that you had us walk over here when we could have driven?”

He smiled and said “We could have but you wouldn’t have gotten the parcial tour or all the praise if we had plus I bought to you a car so you could get around the territory” he smiled as he started to walk towards the house on the right while I stood there baffled by what he just told me

then Elio shouted from next to Edan “Mama hurry I wanna see my room uncle Edan said my beds super cool!”

I giggled and ran after them towards our new home
